Hi

I owe a Lite-on flashed with LT.

I have a PC with nforce 3 250 chipset which is OK for seeing the drive.

Unfortunately, since I don't have the keys (key.bin or dummy.bin) I have to go on with MRA hack. Question is, if I find key.bin but not the other info (dummy.bin which includes inquiry.bin, serial.bin etc) can I reflash the drive to LT+1.1 without MRA hack?

@mwest23 Nope, you cant. Need to MRA. You cannot dump LT through the dummy method, nor the probe method. You need to dump the whole firmware. (Only way to do that is to MRA hack)

Also, LT+ 1.1 is the latest, no need for LT+

@naturallygamer956 Actually, I was just doing research online about it, and I found out that Lite-On is the only drive that is not able to restore to Stock Firmware. If you have a Hitachi, Samsung, or BenQ you can and all of those guides are online.

i have 1.5.1 iXtreme liteon drive, gona upgrade to LT firmware, how do i save the ofw on jungle flasher. i CAN Load key from "Dummy from iXtreme" but what about ofw, this is 1st im gona flash so not sure. thanks.

@SpitfireN34 Thats a good point and I want everyone to remember that. Nothing is 100% safe and this is a cat and mouse game we play with M$. I haven't been band yet and the only thing i can recommend is keep your eyes and ears open and if you here their is a band wave going on stay offline for a while or if you have a second unmodded console use that. Until then guys everyone please update to IXtreme 1.1 if you have a BenQ or Lite-on drive.

nothing is ever xbox live safe,

sure it may keep you from getting caught for months but eventually it microsoft will catch you. Trust me every frimware that comes out alwasy gets caught and then a new one gets released. hopefulyl lt lasts long though since it isnt a drastic firmware change

hey mwest i ran into a problem when flashing my liton 7 ver. my kit suposed to come in in a week but i was going to flash with LT fimware and on the jungle flasher it says "If your Drive has been previously flashed with iXtreme LT then you will no longer be

able to use 74850C or 83850C v1 or Dummy-from-iXtreme methods to retrieve

Dummy.bin! A full dump can still be performed using MRA method CLICK HERE"

DOES this mean i cant upgrade to another firmware if it comes out??

i need help when i hook up my raid controller i put it ina dn go 2 jungle flasher and nothings there but when i hook it up 2 my pc's onboard sata it shows up i hold my ck3 probe on the lite on drive and press dvdkey 32 about 3 secs later it says warning serial data is bad i have the 74850c plz help me idk wut 2 do do i need 2 get the new ck3 connectivity kit and a new probe tht came out or what?

I've got a liteon drive that froze while writing bank 3. Now I can't get into vendor mode wut so ever no matter what I try. Any ideas? By the way I've flashed countless drives all brands and never had a issue.

no its not detectable YET, but thats the point of releasing updated software because previous software becomes detecable and banned from xbox live.
