i bet the ATC gave them the permission for own time own target to take-off.

there are time slots allocated to the respective acrobatic and flying display teams/aircraft. hence, its not a case of own-time-own-target.

i think u ve misunderstood me. i meant the atc didnt give them permission to take off one at a time. the atc probably said something like " all knights, taxi to threshold n clear to take off when ready, maintain separation." rather than "knight 1, cleared to take off", "knight 2,clear to take off"..etc

negative. thats 20R. there is no longer a 02R runway designation at WSSS. they are either 02L/C or 20R/C. cheers!
