the best part of this movie is that there's no explanation as to how the apples joshua's mom ate were spiked, how the goblins are still alive, or what became of elliot's friends.

you'd expect the third troll movie (yes there is a troll 3) to tie up these loose ends.

but nope. like troll 2, troll 3 has absolutely nothing to do with its predecessor.
