Key is legendary...At what they do, and how they do it. As someone like myself, whose disgusted by all the empty ecchi/shonen crap with no true storylines other than the same tired charater roles and that walking viewer pleasure sluts, this stuff is pure gold. Great animation, and no need for a friggin panty shot every 2 secs to show it off. Thats how it should be to me anyway. Anime is ultimately a story. ^^

For all the slowpokes out there, the full translation patch for the game was released on Dec. 18

They have an EX/ME version patch, but the it removes all the new content from them (effectively turning them into the normal game but with a few more bugs here and there) since they haven't translated the EX/ME stuff yet. Yes, that means the h-scenes are removed (though I did unlock some in the gallery viewer for some reason). No big deal since KEY isn't very good at h-scenes anyways.

I really wouldn't call it much of an achievement to be good at drawing animated porn anyway...Can you imagine if some hentai artist started bragging about how awesome their works are being regarded by an audience of children and otakus who can't find lovers in real life? lol!!!

@Redtheundead They are translating EX atm, currently one translator is doing the common route extra scenes and the other is tackling the Sasasegawa route. When the EX/ME extra content is finished they'll patch it although they will keep the H off as far as I know.

You can check the TLwiki, but don't hold your breath. It's taken them THREE YEARS to get to 94% done. And that's just for the original version. Expect another 1.5-2 years before they finish the Ex version.

They really need to get more translators or something, or more dedicated ones at least.

They supposedly have 3 translators working on the project. If true, they're averaging about 25 lines a day between the three of them.

@hoticehunter They actually have 2 currently active ones and only 1 of them is actually full-time on it (he's also the one with the biggest amount of work). Although it's true they are on the slow side in comparison to other groups but they didn't rush out a patch full of mistakes which shows they were trying to be professional about it. They are doing it for free and all. Most Key projects either get dropped halfway (Air, Tomoyo After) or rushed incomplete (Clannad) so at least it was done.

I have the standard edition, but it's lacking the 3 extra heroines, plus some updates in the routes, like Kud's(apparently making the routes that had stuff added to them much better), which is my favorite character.

It's still marketed alongside the normal version, so the marketing isn't limited, at least to a noticeable point. Since the original clean version is still available, the adult version is merely an extra fan-service and appeals to the crowd that's into that.

Really, it's a smart move if you think about it. By keeping the normal version and making an ero-version, they have a wider market.
