@kimbo99 Science is an ever progressive method that we apply which we may understand through logical and rational means, what business do invisible agencies have in factual matters. Dreams are only a natural process which we all undergo during sleep; Descartes was met with sensation, creative thought, and a sense of inspiration during this process. Such entities (invisible agencies) you speak thereof, are yet to be proven...the subconscious of his human mind made it happen, not angels.

These events have profound impacts on people. They ponder them for decades. So what would you/ Descartes say about that?

The laws of the Cartesian method are four:
1 Accept nothing as true which is not clear and distinct;
2 Analyze a problem into its parts and discuss it part by part;
3 Arrange thoughts from simple to complex as the order of study;
4 Enumerations must be full and complete and nothing must be omitted
This is the method adopted in mathematics; Descartes transferred it to philosophy with the intention of constructing metaphysics on a new basis
