I still don't get why Fishbone 'opens' for these guys.

Talented enough, but I saw the order of bands reversed in 98 or so with these guys opening up for Fishbone and it wasn't even close. Fishbone blew them off the stage.

Thankfully when I saw Fishbone a few weeks ago it was one of the few shows Fishbone wasn't also playing with Slightly Stoopid... so The Bone played for over two hours and rocked the place.

Fishbone is my favorite band in the world and I agree that that in a perfect world they SHOULD be headlining because that would mean Fishbone would still have the draw they did in the early 90s. Fishbone playing right before Slightly Stoopid is the best thing they could be doing now. Its sad but if they headlined these shows 90% of the crowd would leave after Stoopid because they are so big now. They are helping Fishbone out so much by letting the play in front of 1000 people a night again.

I've seen plenty of shows where I thought the openeer should have headlined.... The truth is the headliner is usually the band that can sell more tix.

That being said, SS was playing to very small crowds just 3-4 years ago. They have blown up and can sell out big venues. Obviously venues see this and made a smart move.

Hell yea! Angelo OWNS in this song! Slightly Stoopid is a great band but not many can top Angelo's voice. So much soul in his voice! Cant beat it...He made a great Slightly Stoopid song into a Masterpiece!
