DAoC relics gone in 60 sec

this is the /debug mode exploit.

It is not fixed. but there are triggers in the sky kicking you if you fly into them. but all the other /debug functionality still works.

Played DAOC for about a year and a half back around that time period...honestly not sure what this video is showing. Is it basically an exploit that allowed you to free-walk (fly) anywhere?

Look om the vn boards page 84, relics today response from csr, then look on page 3 for the response from Sanya. I remember this quite well as people wee talking about this all day. This happened about January 24, 2004.

Can't you read? This is not a free shard server. This video is from Mythic Entertainment's actual gaming server. I played DAoC and remember when this happened.

It was a program I promised to never release to the public and it never was, my characters name was Ashanor or Cellan. The infiltrator in the video was another of mine named Wodin. It is not a hoax and care less if you believe it or not.

That video I made years and years ago on Albion Nimue. The Relic I stole was the hib str relic (i believe it was str not power). I did not get in any legal trouble I even told Mythic what I was going to do before I even did it, And even waited around 4hours for them to talk to me since when you pick up relics it is logged.

This video is legit, I've been playing the game since release, Meef/Neef of Albion, Lancelot. I remember hearing about this a few months after the game had been out, someone actually used this exploit on their server and stole 4 relics. I don't remember when exactly nor what happened to that person, but I believe he ended up in some legal trouble.

nah thats not freeshards /debug is faster than that and most freeshard servers dont have all those npc's. doesnt look too convinsing lol but theres enough proof that its not freeshards

This is a very, very old video, predating Freeshards. I can confirm this and I didn't even play on Nimue. :X

Ok, just so people understand. This is not a CSR, nor was this a freeshard server, or /debug. I played DAoC at the time this video was made and it was done on Mythic Entertainments own server, Hibernia Nimue. If you google, VN Boards Relics today Response from CSR, you will find a thread about the video.
