OK So fiberglass to harden then car body filler to get a smooth finish alot of sanding
the face plate is fixed on this one but it wouldnt be to hard to dremmell it off attach some hinges and a couple of motors with a control switch but i havent found much time lately
maybe in the summer

o and yes fully wearable i padded the inside so feels a little like a motorbike helmet
hey ! great work ! 3 questions : are you able to wear it ? if so, does the faceplate open up like the original and also i was wondering how you harden the paper ?

I was wondering , what material do you use to turn your papercraft so smooth after ? at 0:15 for exemple .
Is that the result of fiberglassing the helmet ?

thats called sanding. most commonly used with sandpaper to get that softness effect. try it. i think youll like it.
