@AuditionGuy258 Unfortunately, just because you can kick hard does not mean that you can kick effectively. 90% of how you kick is more down to technique than power. I've seen women who weigh 6 1/2 stone (90lbs roughly) cripple guys who weigh over 200lbs (just shy of 15 stone) with a single good kick performed correctly. I've also seen those same guys (who are almost all muscle) be absolutely useless at kicking and have no speed or technique. It all comes down to training...
@0Tombstone0 It's nice that they know that karate comes from Okinawa, but it's a touristy mistake to assume all karate comes from Okinawa. Kyokushin was created in the 60's by a Korean immigrant. He set up headquarters in Tokyo, and that's where Kyokushin honbu remains to this day. If they went to Okinawa, they might as well have trained an Okinawan form, or even Shotokan at the very least. They just picked the most popular one in MMA, and went to Okinawa to try and look "educated".
@0Tombstone0 is karate effective i did it when i was younger but i didnt understand the art of fighting and hadn't of found my love for martial arts then. i currently train in mma. do you recommend it in any way?
I've been in Okinawa for almost 9 years now, love seeing the dojo's driving around, -
