やっぱ昔の画のほうが表情が豊かで荒い画質が逆に温かみがあって­よかったな。

今の画はきれい過ぎて機械的で声と表情があってないように感じる­。

It's hard to believe that Ataru's VA is 63 and Lum's is in her mid-fifties! They don't sound a day over 18. Let's see the cutesy VAs these days try to keep the same voice after 20-odd years. :)

Wow, Ryuunosuke looks almost exactly like Ryoga from Ranma 1/2 in this OVA. Heck, I'll bet that if he'd fallen into the Spring of Drowned Girl, that's exactly what he'd look like.

I can´t believing Ryunosuke have Mayumi Tanakas voice. Because Mayumi Tanaka is Luffys (One Piece) voice actor and I´m so accustomed Luffys voice, so it´s hard believe that she is Ryunosukes voice actor too. I´m glad her voice doesn´t change anything in about 20 year. 8D

Yeah, the price is way too high. It's mostly aimed at the hardcore fans as it includes the 3 OVAs + 3 figurines from each series. Depending on the quality of the figurines, some even cost up to $200 in Japan.

This OVA is a part of the It's a Rumic World DVD Box.

If you like it, please buy the DVD on cdjapan[dot]co[dot]jp or amazon[dot]co[dot]jp (or you wait for the US Release).

it's better to wait for the US release or buy it from another place other than amazon JP. the DVD box is pretty pricey (~200 bucks) and Amazon Jp has very high international shipping costs.

US release ha. The US never did Urusei Yatsura the series. They dubbed Ranma 1/2 and Inuyash and Maison Ikkoku but not Urusei Yatsura. I'm NOT waiting that long for Urusei Yatsura.

Actually, while Viz didn't licence the Urusei Yatsura anime. AnimEigo did. They dubbed and subbed just about all 195 episodes, all the OAVs, and 5/6 movies. You can buy them straight from their website or from rightstuf.
