The track was raised with Ninco N-LIfter and AFX four lane supports. Also, I used Ninco track clips to lock the barriers into place to create a more stiffer structure. Finally, on certain sections there was foam board utilized for additional stiffening. You can see my thread about this track by visiting SCXWorldwide and do a search for "Embaracadero"
The best track I've seen! To make it seem more fantastic, maybe brighten the room up. What are the dimensions? Love how you come back on one side of the bridge. I actually thought of that too!
Thanks for the compliments. In regards to the lighting, the lights in that room were blinking out a bit but I was also trying to keep it dark on purpose so the headlights of the cars could shine through better. Obviously, it didn't work out as well as I hoped. On my next layout, it will be a day race and I intend to have an "in car cam" view as well.
I'd rather not discuss monetary information on a public message board. If you want more specifics, please message me on SCXWorldwide or Slot Car Illustrated under the user name "LDFan".
As for my favorite accessory, it's probably the pit stop feature but then again I simply like the whole system in general.
You can see a diagram and several pics of both of these two lane traffic layouts @ the SCXWorldwide website by searching for "embarcadero" .
Read what I have to say in those threads regarding the pro's and con's of the design. It's kinda of fun in the beginning but the design wear's on you after awhile.
As for additional video, it can't be done since the track is no longer assembled. I'm working on a new design.
The thought never occurred to me. If you are interested in purchasing an SCX Digital system, they are readily available @ better hobby stores or on-line merchants.
How do you raise the track?

Where is this???

@caseyiso
It was in my basement in San Francisco for a scant three days. Due to it's enormous size, I regretfully had to demolish it.
