You missed the flaw in the midi setting page.

if you rearrange any of the hardware devices and close it, they snap back to the default places.

You're out of luck unless you know someone with a Mac and can copy the app. Otherwise you can reinstall, just make sure you make a backup.

you should make a video opening 100 apps cmd O and show how fast it loads. also you should use a video camera so quicktime takes less resources.

Switch the "My Processes" tab list in Activity Monitor to "All Processes", maybe that's why it's not showing much? I don't know lol

Wow, I didn't even notice that. Talk about a bonehead mistake. Thanks for the tip. I never changed that setting on leopard so they must default it to "My Processes" from now on.
