She NEEDS to ask for permission to sign an autograph. In 2007-2008 she was hounded by people, and Paparazzi that didn't give a fuck about her well-being! They just wanted a picture/autograph! There are some videos on youtube that you can watch where she actually says to her bodyguard 'I'm Scared'. There are even some instances where paparazzi have knocked her out of the way in an attempt to get a photo. She is THE most guarded person on the planet because of that!
