What about Alyx? Well, she looks mixed and she reprogrammed the turrets in this chapter to "attack the enemy." I guess since the combine wears black suits, the turret probably confused Eli's dark skin with a Combine solider.

@NatPJ1 Actually it's probably made to shoot only combines and flying "hax" robots or what ever they are called. Alyx came there to find his father from that place so why would she make the turrets shoot almost everybody, including his own dad.. Btw this didn't happen to me (on pc version) even when I carried some turrets from other place earlier

Don't we all kill the main characters at some point in the game? Also, Eli does tend to die the quickest. Mossman can usually withstand the most torture before finally accepting her sweat death. Then I spawn a few more.

Well eff me. I just found this out playing Half-Life 2 again after a year or so off it, and now I see you mugs found this a year ago. Great work!! I actually carried 5 extra turrets into the area depicted in your video. And they killed Eli, and the game sorta stopped. Interesting (to me) I then picked a turret up and walked up to Mossman, and she wigs out and starts running. You can chase her all over the level with it. BTW, 8 properly placed turrets are almost (not quite) impenetrable.
