@Huttate1 I'm not suggesting that people are pretending to pray, to be fair I wouldn't say why individuals pray at all, it's in their head, I couldn't know! lol. I'm suggesting that, for whatever reason a person prays, it can be helpful (regardless of what invisible friend they are talking to).
@Huttate1 The impotent palm squeezing IS the thinking about it. To think before doing is a good thing, at least in my experience. I've had convos with myself before coming to a conclusion in a difficult matter, would this not be the same thing? Also, your answer doesn't cover the placebo effect.
@jeffner1980 I think feeling good is a healthy thing and there is plenty of evidence that placebo effect can work. So, are you suggesting that people are pretending to pray to a god, knowing there is no-one listening, simply to make themselves feel better and give them cogitation time?
@Huttate1 The power of prayer: I've had this discussion before, and an interesting argument resulted. Prayer, unlike sending a letter to the North pole, can instigate the individual praying to do something positive about the problem they are praying about (God helps those that help themselves, etc.), and can also induce the placebo effect. Your thoughts?
@jeffner1980 That's not prayer. That's thinking about stuff. A subtle difference. WHy pray and then do it yourself. How about forget the impotent palm squeezing, get off your knees and do it straight away?
The kid is cashing in on his recent success. He uploaded another piece of badly rhyming prose, about marriage (and baby Jesus) this time.

I quit watching after a minute, to be honest. Just couldn't stand to hear four full minutes of sentiment and misconceptions, based on a poor understanding of both Bible and history, mixed into a toe-cringing lovechild of rap lyric and bad poetry. But that's just me...

@62netty You didn't miss much. It just devolved further into a rant about why everyone needs more Jeeeeeeesuz in their life. Ugh....

I feel that in Job Lesbianism is mentioned.
Job 31:10 Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.
Loosely translated "Can I watch" ;-P
