Wait! You CAPTURED him? You mean... alive? How the hell did you do it? I spent three weeks with one of those in my house, locked in the kitchen, and couldn't catch him. He ended up dead, smashed against a wall. Tell me your secret, please!
@VonSpiegel Well, first of all, "captured" in this case means I filmed it with a camera. Second, it's not nice to smash mice against wall, it's mean :S
To answer your question - yes, I did actually catch the mouse alive later. For that I make "traps" out of a shoe box. I put a stick (a pencil or something) to keep the box lifted and in the point between the stick and ground I put a treat (a piece of cheese for ex.). When a mouse comes to get the treat, the
@janimalia Yeah, I know it was mean, but, you see, he shouldn't be at my apartment in the first place. I have no clue how a mouse got here, since I live on the second floor. And my girlfriend used to panic everytime she saw the little fella. As if it wasn't enough, he found a way to get on top of my sink and my stove, and rat urine can give you a lot of diseases. I had no choice, really. If it happens again, I promise I'll try your humanitarian methods. =)
@VonSpiegel It still mean, you could capture him alive and then drop to somewhere far from home. They are harmless creatures, except the urine, as you said, can transmit diseases, which today is rare, and if you have care in your home and your body should not worry about it. About screaming because a rat, well, it's ridiculous, I bet they are more afraid of humans than we should be afraid of them! very misunderstood creatures.
