Amen Chonister (robbie is that you?) I was in MHS marching band 95-98 and On The Waterfront and The Bells rocked! We had twice the amount of people back then though so times have changed. Also our parents were all really involved. I miss those days!
This band ROCKED! Great music written by Mueller. And very well executed drill. Too bad the camera angle didn't showcase some great marching technique. Moore is awesome!
Actually, Kamiar was supposed to be the Major in the front, but him and Kyle switched... But it is good that we had two, because on those sets where we had to face the back, he came in handy.
The concept of the show was to use words ending in -red to describe the different sets. He amplifies this by the use of the props, which wheel together and turn around to make the words. You should see Red by itself, Discove-red, Admi-red, and Wi-red.
You'd have to ask Mr Mueller about his music selection, but I personally thought this years show made a lot more "sense" than past shows. You may not be aware, Mr Mueller himself was the primary author of this years show.
Oooh. That's pretty cool, kind of like the (red) deal where they do that on shirts and stuff. That's clever. Hey, I really like all the boxes and squares you all do. That's hard work.
Mueller should go back to what he did when I was in band from the mid-late 90's. He would take a classical song, and adapt it for marching band. We marched to David Holsinger, Leonard Bernstein, and even Sergei Rachmaninoff, and it was awesome.
The only reason why Mueller wrote RED, really, was because we had Freshmen, including me, and sophmores both come up at the same time, so bout 60% of the band was new, so Muelller had to step the "level" down, but he said he'll step it back up this next marching season. Just thought I'd clarify what he told me...

Scratch the Drum Major comment. When I see you guys in open sets, I see why you have two.

Do you guys really need two Drum Majors for a band this size?
Anyways, I gotta' say, the music wasn't very... Entertaining. Sure, it's mostly clean, and so are your sets, but I can't find the heart!

What does Red mean? Also why does Mr. Mueller insist on selecting music that is hard to listen to?

Mueller has REALLY stepped the level up this marching season! It's called "Constant" Variables. It's fast, fun and the drill looks REALLY COOL!!!

Our horn move at the 20 count hold in part 1 is amazingly in time every time, and looks great.

This was such a bad performance for me! I dropped my flag twice!!! I love it at 1:14 when Mueller starts yelling. ^^
