  • The modern jeep now beats the defender hands down for offroading, practicality, comfort etc, the rubicon is a purpose built off roading vehicle, the defender is and has always been a farm vehicle, good for putting sheep/hay bales in the back and good in a muddy field but not at the same capability of the jeep for off roading,

  • @gonnapumpupthevolume and before i get LR fans running this comment down ive had all the defenders you can think of Ive had 2 nas spec 90's yellow one and a white one, 110 ex camel trophy, 130 high cap set up for overlanding with roof tent winch etc. 2 90 anniversary's models, and a couple others. I currently have a jeep rubicon 4dr and it outperforms them all.

  • é tenho que aprender a falar russo pra saber o que ele diz kkkk mais gostei do video...= p

  • OIIIIIO

  • @cuitinomatias

    O==O

  • Как Вы, Игорь Георгиевич, на 1.20 минуте говорите: "...появился известный всему ТИПУ логотип..."?

    Улыбнуло...)))

  • I wish I could understand this. It sounds like a real comprehensive comparison between the two cars.

  • Er meinte der Land Rover ist besser als der jeep ;)

...aber ein J8 Militär Jeep ist intressant! Der J8 kann mehr als der normale Jeep Rubicon

  • privet my communist friend. Very good review which shows more practical things that is good to know.

  • thanks 4 video

i got rubicon and am happy but i wanna g wagon mercedes cuz diesel - to usa

  • english please!!

  • @defendertd5

Sorry guys... I'm good enough in english to make TV presenting... but trying to use "globish" I can say some words, some summary: approximately equal off-road abilities, a little better angles - plus for Def, transfer case shield to low - minus for Rubi, jeep's engine much more powerful, but Landy's antistall system is the best.

  • @Garu4x4 NOT GOOD ENOUGH surely I mean

  • @Garu4x4 Please do not think all english speakers to be rude. It is simply that this appears to be an excellent program with much information, and being able to view it is very desirable. Take this as a compliment and a sign that english subs would gain you many new viewers.

  • @Garu4x4 Thank you.

  • CC or Englais please.

  • @BHShaman Summary - Defender better on loose surface deep roots & muddy trails, Rubicon much more practical & comfy, plus cabrio version in 10 minutes, and auto. and petrol... That all means - Jeep is better for real life, LR for duties, and hard muddy conditions.

  • @Garu4x4 It's no surprise this Defender has better traction. The Rubicon's tires on that car are not the ones they sell in the USA.

  • @NemeanLion That's because it's the one for European market

  • @Garu4x4

Thank you. English version would be nice. Based on what I saw it looks as though you were providing interesting, thoughtful test report.

My experience/knowledge - Exactly what you said + Defender more robust, better built. JK needs suspension changes - more robust long arm + 35s makes JK king of the recreational trails scene.

  • @pwatom I think it would've helped if the Jeep had Rubicon tires as well. Why does Europe sell the Rubicon trim with street tires?

  • @NemeanLion Rubicon has rear diff lock, front diff lock. Defender only has center diff lock, so the tire issue is trying to make things fair. That Defender on the video doesnt seem to be the one with traction control, which is very good, but doesnt compare to lockers.

  • @Garu4x4 My Defender is pretty much an unbeatable workhorse! Who cares about comfort and ergonomics when you are going to the places it has taken me with so little fuel and so many loads! You want comfort get a sedan and go to the mall!
