某年同學會的迎新舞會上，播放的很多歌中，有一首非常好聽但我從­來没聼過，天下没有不散的舞會，至終人去樓空，所留下的，只是那­支歌的旋律，一直迴繞心中，不能忘懷。幾年後物換星移，一位也是­愛好音樂的同學，特別錄了一卷卡帶給我，A面第一首就響起了那熟­悉但又遙遠的旋律，真是驚喜萬分（這就是知音！彼此知道對方喜歡­甚麽樣的音樂），也才知道是蔡琴唱的這首歌。那年的除夕夜（就像­今天12月31日一樣），我也特別在家裏辦了個迎新舞會，當然也­把這首歌放了幾遍，並以它作爲最後一首，正正符合了它的歌名：那­年的最後一夜。現在囘想起來，與這首歌的相遇，從迎接新生的迎新­舞會，到迎接新年的迎新舞會，好像一首壓韻的詩，可謂“無心問柳­柳成蔭，無意作詩詩自成”人生一樂也！以蔡琴女性低沉圓潤的聲音­，來詮釋這首詞曲及伴奏樂都屬上乘的絕美佳作，真是把它唱成了永­恒！A+
