uhhhhhhh, hey! This is from WWB at Lake Havusa in Arizona and these are not 16 inch shells. These are all 12 inchers. Right before this video starts the announcer at the event says "get ready for some big 12 inch shells!"
@kscruggs68 You're wrong, I clearly remember them announcing these as 16 inch shells. I have personally shot 12" shells at several shows over the years and 12s are not this big.
@o2thx ok, I guess my ears are whacked out because in my video response the announcers say big, massive , 12" shells but I will take your word for it. I wasnt there as you can see my vid is from pyroinnovations
@kscruggs68 Maybe I stand corrected, I was pretty confident I heard them speak about 16 inch shells. You sure this is the exact same demonstration or could it be that the video you speak of was a different demo that might have used smaller shells in the same performance? At any rate, pretty awesome display regardless.
@o2thx PyroInnovations could have edited the video and yes I think that display rivals anything you could see at PGI. In fact, I would love to go to WWB this February and see it in person!
@asshol3434 i think that would be a danger to all of mankind. Imagine how much lifting powder that would take, and you would have to make it go outrageously high in order for it to be safe, if it was lower it would probably kill mankind.
@amaralmatthewtk hahahahahaha XD wel big fire work must be more cool from distance nice display :D 100 ich shell lol how bout 100mega ton shell exploide in space that gifes nice display XD
@Pr0m0sL0oOver It's an old classical piece called "Also sprach Zarathustra" and was composed by Richard Strauss in 1896 and is most recognized as being used during the main title sequence of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
It's an old classical piece called "Also sprach Zarathustra" and was composed by Richard Strauss in 1896 and is most recognized as being used during the main title sequence of the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
If you expand the video description on the right, I had the info there.
haha i have "also sprach zarathustra" on my ipod in a jazz version. the wierd thing is i like death metal. also great display wish i could have been there as much as thunder over louisville
Not a big fan of fireworks with music but this is one case that's an exception. Perfect timing which is usually rare when fired with music. The big shells make all the difference!
i was not refering to the size of the country but to the law how it is applied differntly in different countries. In malta wev got lovely fireworks: example Mt.Carmel Fireworks Factory Zurrieq and search for the show named Flowers of Fire
It's just you, what you see is the entire raw video as I shot it, nothing was done to this video.
Matter of fact, the better quality version of it can be seen on my website link listed in the description of this video at the top right area of this page, in the Winterblast link.
Cool -- I watched it again and I see what's going on -- it's just the camera movement combined with the somewhat low break of a large shell -- and the three-dimensional characteristics of the break. Still a cool video. Love that 2001 theme music!
AMAZING !!!!! If you like fireworks you must see Cavallo di Fuoco (in english "The Fire Horse" !!! It's an italian carnival in the city of Ripatransone !!! It consists in a fake horse full of spectacular fireworks, which turns around the sqare dropping fire between the watchers... Write on YouTube: "Cavallo di Fuoco" and enjoy ;)
You cannot purchase professional fireworks like these in America unless you are a registered pyrotechnician with the appropriate certifications.
I have no idea how much these would cost, I'm sure they would cost a hell of a lot though, probably $5000 or more for a 16inch, I would guess. That's just my guess though.

I have no idea what the names are of any of the fireworks in this video, I just know that they were BIG!

No rockets, more like really heavy basketballs fired from a tube, like a cannon.
The best ones were made by a company called Mansuna. San Tai is making some awesome shells in Mansuna's old plant.

Euh, These are 12inch shells. Shot by AM pyrotechnics at i belive 'winter blast'.
There extremely high quility shells from Japan/China.
A 12inch shell costs about 100 / 150 USD. (depends on were you get it from)
Cheers,
