@Th3Downz Well bolt action is a lot more accurate and can train you to make every shot count if you need that. On the other hand, semi auto is better for target practice because you don't need to cock it every time.

I would say bolt actions are a lot more accurate than a semi auto. At 25 yards my marlin model 60 will do a .5 inch group with cheapo ammo and a 4x scope..

Semi autos get jammed very often, bolties never do. Unless you got your cock in the chamber..

semi autos jam often? I don't think so...I have a marlin model 60 and I would say once I got it broke in, it only jams maybe 1 in every 1000 rounds. If you don't have a good semi auto then maybe it would jam but I don't have the jamming issue.

bolt less cleaning because the gas goes down the barrel more relaible and more accrecy/consistancy because the gas doesnt move the bolt back and effects the shot or movement from the gun semi much faster fire rate..

I purchased that exact riifle aas my first gun from Dicks Sporting goods. It does NOT come with iron sights at all, instead it came with a 3-9x40 scope. its a great rifle. feels amazing

how the hell did you get the iron sites off it. all savage arm mark II's come with iron sites so you must have taken them off or someone did at some point. remember every single mark II leaves the factory with iron sites

I just bought a MK II w/o accu trigger. I had a few questions if anyone can help. I want to get a scope. The iron sights suck. it is totally factory. Do I need a rail or do you directly mount the scope to the rifle? Recommendations on ammo? What size scope would be ok?

any problems with reloading? I saw you have your hand on the magazine. I taped my magazine so it doesn't jiggle in the receiver...doesn't really help though. My Mark II jams up about 10% of the time, and it pisses me off! Thanks, good video.

I have one also and it jams sometimes too. I think it is the ammo (remington brass plated Golden bullets) it is getting better as the gun is breaking in. I think i will try CCI.

I have the same problem. One out of every 10 or so don't eject right. I didn't have this problem until I switched to cheap ammo though.

yeah it really depends on the ammo you use. when i use federal champpions or cci minimags a almost always get jams on the last round. but when i use federal valuepack i get excellent groups and no jams. try different ammo and see what your gun likes. DO NOT GET REMINGTON .22 THUNDERBOLTS YOU WILL SCREW UP YOUR GUN
