To everyone saying she was "acting" on the voice: you're wrong. She is was shy and had stage fright. Imagine going from having a group of friends and your sister on stage with to having to sing alone after being dropped from your label. She also probably does write children books. Her sister makes jewelery and is still a part of the band. Dia also has a song called "yellow butterflies" which is based off of a story she wrote. I only watched the voice because I heard she was on it....

just because she's played big shows doesn't mean that competing on a national show wouldn't scare her. :P i'd be shy too.

@thisistooomuch yeah they played up the the "shy, inexperienced girl" act with her. Also in her bio they only said she was a children's book writer.
