incredibile come un post come questo su un alieno come Morricone conti solo 56000 commenti, e come invece un coglione come paul potts arrivi a 70000000 commenti
God began creating, splitting into two, then four....14 billion years later, look about you and see what WE the I AM has become, trillions of worlds..countless individuals, experiencer of all experiences. Out into experience and back to Source when our individual experience leaves the physical universe. No fear to die because you already are part of the living God. I dont know how to stress that enough, despair not we are all already One in the Many. Rejoice you are a dream come true, dream well
It gave so much emotions into it. The ending was the best part. But it does not answer the question of life, only the origin of life on earth. HOW DID LIFE ON MARS START?
It's entirely possible for something to appraise that literature and still listen to Ennio's beautiful, misunderstood music.
People thought music for science fiction films should sound like 'Star Wars' and 'Star Trek'. Morricone goes places they can't imagine; says things they hadn't dreamed of ~ his music is usually better than the film it serves.
The realm of Science Fiction has always been an allegory of political and or moral sensibilities. The best tales of the genre deal with mankind's struggle for survival or knowledge. Such popular and noteworthy tomes as "Stranger in a Strange Land" by Robert Heinlein, "Childhood's End" by Arthur C. Clarke and "Man in the High Castle" and "Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep" by Philip K. Dick all deal with man's need for identity and struggle for self worth.
I'm referring to the main plot of Mission to Mars.That's the very thing this music is stating out here.This "music talks" about those very things those novels listed deal with too.
The movie plot was quite childlike until they got to The Face,but the revelation on the end left me quite nicely surprised.The fact we are actually the Martians was quite original.They sent their life to Earth as insurance for their species survival.
Mission to Mars SUCKED, but its film score is INCREDIBLE, far too good for a movie of such inferior quality. The last scene with the Martian and the origin of life on Earth is the only bit of the movie that's actually good.
the music is kind of lame too. the ending scene's music is very similiar to that of 'claire de lune' by claude debussy which is far superior and the "music" playing when they are trying to stabilize the ship is pure HELL
Well, he contributed to a 1974 animated film, "Around the World with the Lovers of Peynet" although most of that was done by his multi-talented associate Alessandro Alessandroni... SO... I think I have over-stated things a bit!
SORRY about that {{{maybe I was thinking about documentaries?? ~ because, you know, Morricone has done several of those....Mmm ~ sorry}}}
Semplicemente immenso...hai reso un film già di suo meraviglioso,in un capolavoro...orgoglioso di essere italiano come Ennio Morricone

I loved this movie. Most because of the music.
