Not all "Old Anon" are Boxxy lovers.

But Boxxy more or less brought out the rage of the "New Anon," who only wanted to demonstrate their control of 4chan, and their power over information. Anonymous was never meant to ruin lives for the lulz, this is a New Anon teaching. Anon was meant to ruin the lives of those who had it coming to them (e.g., pedos, Hal Turner, etc.) Boxxy only wished for peace between Anon and Gaia, and Anon replied with stalking. It was not right.

Boxxy wished for no such thing, though. At what point did she say anything about wishing for peace? Putting words in her mouth and making her out to be more than she ever meant to be only serves to further deify her. She was a victim, sure, but she wasn't a martyr... can't we all just let her be a normal person?

Calling for a truce is more or less calling for peace. Of course, she was only normal. She still requests that she not be called a "queen." I don't think she was a martyr, but the fact that she was innocent still makes it wrong for Anonymous to take the action it did.

Arguably, Anonymous took no action... the guys who hacked her accounts did so under persistent off-site pseudonyms, thus forfeiting their anonymity. Thus, while some of them may have believed themselves to be acting in the name of Anonymous, they weren't... if it can be attributed to specific individuals, it is not the work of Anonymous.

Also, I still don't know what you mean... I never heard anything about a truce.

He thought she was something that she was not, that she was trying to be something that she was not. He wasn't doing it for the lulz; he was doing it because he believed he was helping people. He believed he was helping her. He did not wish to credit Anonymous for his actions.

She had already quit Gaia long before any of this happened, and in fact was rather confused by her sudden rise to stardom.
