When I go to Malta, I stay at a little place in Gzira, 5 minutes walk to Sliema.
*** Love Sliema *** ... you just have to ignore the traffic (buses are worse than the cars). Walk into the side streets, the heart of it, and you will see some beautiful old streets and residences, which, thankfully, are still unspoilt. All those property developers, keep your hands off Sliema unless you only want to restore some of the oldest properties to their beautiful old self.
HELLO!!!!!i ask everyone who knows about this city...i need to go there in january...and i need to find a job...in your opinio it's hard to find a job like bartender/BARMAN/BARISTA????THANK YOU!!!!
@MAXXFIGO Greetings from Malta. Thank you very much for the comment. As for the job opportunity, I have no idea about it. Pehaps, you could check it out with the online media such as The Times of Malta, Malta Independant and MaltaToday on classified ads or search the websites of hotels, bistro, etc on job vacancy.
@sliemalouis Thanks so much for your comment and glad that you enjoyed the presentation. Many more places to visit in Sliema. It is indeed an interesting place.
That was a very professional video. It took in all that Sliema is (was). It should go down well with anybody who wants to get a glimpse of Sliema. Well Done!!
@rajatuc1 Thank you very much for your kind words. It meant a lot to us. So glad that you enjoyed this video. There are various interesting areas to see in these areas. We took some times to explore certain parts of the older areas as well - very charming, indeed. Lots of ancient buildings with fine architectures and fascinating historical background.
Loved watching this video presentation of my home town, Sliema. which gave me a nostalgic look of where I spent my childhood days. I lived very near to the sea water distillation building, now a printing press. The original owner was our front door neighbour and family friend on Pace street. Thanks, Ron.
@Ron9657 Hi Ron, thanks very much for your comment. Glad that our video brought you fond memories of Sliema. Yes, we passed by the sea water distillation building and its surrounding area. Sliema is quite a huge area and it is an interesting place to explore. We saw many beautiful old buildings and some are very historic.

@austinsimson You are most welcome, Michael. I would like to humbly suggest to you to check on the Official Visit Malta website from time to time as it provides the updates of cultural events etc . Some historic and non historic premises do host an Open Day from time to time.
@Krille3 Thanks for your comments. I am not sure if the vintage car show is held there annually. I think there is a vintage car museum in Qawra, St Paul's Bay. Perhaps, you may find them on the internet.
You have just brightened and warmed up a cold winters day here in London! all I need now is a pint of cisk larger to top it off. A great compilation. i will get thru your other video's soon. thanks ..
Thank you for your kind compliments. Glad that you enjoyed our video and hope that the rest of the videos that you would be watching would bring you some 'sunshine' too.

We read conflicting reports about the S.C. Church vs Nazzarenu.
Thanks and glad you enjoyed the trip around Sliema. We did too when we went there even though we could not find our car :))
