  • And Oasis thought they were the first... lol.

  • discipulos del señor anton ...

    muy buenos !

  • oh fuck yes

  • where can i find unisex stuff?

  • @sunchild90 Discogs.com

  • THIS IS EVER SO...

  • mtv?... wooow

  • Yeah bald seid ihr da!!! 23. September Leipzig naTo. Wer bock hat...

  • i wish i could find modern bands i like this much. i dont want to sound like a cliche bastard but there just isn't much music that is 100% about the music anymore. would have been cool to go see bands this good live.

  • @tracksuitjim amen.

  • @tracksuitjim a bit different but modern bands like vivian girls and best coast are pretty good

  • @tracksuitjim

Air Formation, Akron/Family, Antarctica, Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, The Blood Brothers, Bright Eyes, Calla, Caspian, Cave In, Constants, Crooked Fingers, Deerhunter, Deftones, Desaparecidos, Eluvium, Engineers, Explosions in the Sky, Faunts, Hammock, Hot Snakes, Isis, Jesu, Long-View, Maps, The Mars Volta, Mogwai, Moldy Peaches, Mono, Oceansize, Pelican, Planes Mistaken for Stars...

Every band here was started around or after the year 2000. Maybe you should look harder.

  • @diedahero oh my fuck you guys are retarded. i realize its not that obvious in the comment that i mean mainstream and radio play. but seriouslky you guys fuckin obsess over comments. you all need to get lives or something.

  • @tracksuitjim

So, because two people tried to show you some bands that you basically asked for, you go off on a tirade? You must be a super easy person to get along with in real life, the girls must be pounding down the door.

Maybe you should get less defensive and not act like you cared about music to began with?

Lord knows you don't want to be cliche...

  • @diedahero dude, i have heard most of those bands nothing said to me was anything new. my comment was taken out of context and its just annoying to keep seeing responses to it.

  • @tracksuitjim

That's fine, I'm sorry I caught you on a bad day. But I will say this, your statement wasn't taken out of context. When something is taken out of context that mean's there was a full quote to explains the another side of the statement.

It's not like there's a part of your post that got cut off somewhere. You may not have meant for people to reply with ideas for you, but that doesn't mean it's out of context. It just means people misunderstood your intentions.

  • just discovered them last year.

  • best song `everso` ever...

  • I just heard about this band and I love this heaps

  • これ最高ですよね。

    シューゲザー・ファンにもサイケファンにも堪りません。

  • The Telescopes is a english/jewish band. Good music. I enjoy them.

  • when i hear this music i get acid flashbacks.

  • @PHAEDRIDER Too bad you have never dropped any

  • Oh Mann, Danke an die Briten!

the early 90es had such an unique sound - it was so cool then to discover those bands on MTV "120 minutes"or "Alternative nation"; it was something new and much more attractive than the Electro-Pop - decade of the 80es.

  • to be fair, half the 80s was guitar pop. i mean, the telescopes came out of the 80s scene along with spacemen 3, mbv, jesus and the mary chain and all the c86 smiths knock off bands @klinsmeier

  • The late 80s was in fact very much like the early 90s. Musically, and in many ways, they were the same era. .......Too bad everything eventually was cut-up and sold as fashion or profit.

  • Beyond shoe gaze....caught them at the Salisbury Arts Centre back in 89....sooooo stoned, Telescopes....far out music that was highly overlooked.

  • A MASTERPIECE of the early 90's

  • CREATION

  • I absolutely love the song and the band BUT- was that what the video really looked like? Meaning a fraction of a full screen? Sorry if that is a dumb question.

  • Yes, man -- that is a dumb question.

  • thanks,,,,great song for a great band.... i love you, creation

  • I was just told about them too- amazing stuff!!

  • Unforgettable. Thanks for uploading.

  • I've just discovered them! This song made my day ;)

  • great song

    makes me high

  • What a great song.always cheers me up.a great time in my life. with lots of excellent bands,my bloody valentine, king of the slums, loop and birdland.

  • Which record was this one on? I have taste and third wave already and it's not on either of those. By the way i loove Loop and don't forget swervedriver

  • it;s a 12 inch single i believe not on any album, i had to find it online, yeah, loop rock.

was a great time for indie music, not the trash you get now

  • I'll just have to scrape it up on SLSK I suppose, I'll take this over what they're pushing (Iron & Wine, Death cab??? Blech) anyday.. I don't like being made to feel awkward by comically bad music haha.

  • @simonMshannon

    it's also on 7 inches

  • @simonMshannon yeah, deerhunter is such a shity band.

  • Creation Records rock!

  • золотые восьмидесятые..

  • yessssssss i love this song

  • anyone got the precious little song in mp3

    that song kick ass

  • i do, message me

  • This brings back so many good memories that sadly are gone an remain in my thoughts

  • Love the ShoeGaze sound.....soo cool!

  • Wow this is such a great song!! You can't fail to smile to this.

  • Ethereal though they were, the Telescopes make most of today's rock bands look like a bunch of whiny, tuneless pussies. To return to the days when bands wrote MUSIC!

  • ya telescopes are f**king brilliant, i can do without their early punk stuff but love the shoegaze

  • no way, their noise rock was a gem of that genre as well.

  • I love this song so much. One of the bestest bands of the time, yet sadly overlooked. Thanks for posting

  • This takes me back to my shoegazing days, fantastic!!!!

  • more from telescopes pls
