the early 90es had such an unique sound - it was so cool then to discover those bands on MTV "120 minutes"or "Alternative nation"; it was something new and much more attractive than the Electro-Pop - decade of the 80es.

to be fair, half the 80s was guitar pop. i mean, the telescopes came out of the 80s scene along with spacemen 3, mbv, jesus and the mary chain and all the c86 smiths knock off bands @klinsmeier

The late 80s was in fact very much like the early 90s. Musically, and in many ways, they were the same era. .......Too bad everything eventually was cut-up and sold as fashion or profit.
