why did you put on your seatbelt before adjusting your mirrors? everything i've read and done before say's adjust mirrors then put on your seatbelt???
Doors, Handbrake, Seat, Steering, Seatbelt then mirrors. The first 5 get you set up into the correct driving position, so after that point it would be best to adjust your mirrors.
Its done in that order to make sure you are correctly positioned to be able to drive safely. For example if you adjusted mirrors first then adjusted the seat you would have to readjust the mirrors again.
she didnt check her head restraint!! If she had she would have had to readjust it lower....hope she remembers that next time!!!!

yes she did (20/21) checked her head was inline with top of head restraint.
Always ensure your head restraint is adjusted properly, as either a driver or a passenger. Highway Code(97)
In order to correctly adjust a head restraint you should
•Ensure that the top of the head restraint is as high as the top of your head
•Position the head restraint as close to the rear of your head as possible.

Does the examiner test you on the 'cockpit drill'
My instructor does it in a different order does it matter ?
