  • I thought the begins up to about 0.25 was a different song altogether (possibly extended) if so could you send me it please?

  • this makes me want to shoot scumbags in the face

  • whenever i watch the movie i adjust the colors on my tv to .01 cause the movie is so damn colorful only then it looks normal. but otherwise this was the punisher movie. reboot it all you want this was and always wil be the definitive punisher movie for me. badass from the beginning, especially the news story then frank getting up and loading his guns, to the end, where frank points his gun at the mugger and the sign says "saves" so badass. ray is the punisher!

  • If our life goes bad, we have to do like the punisher, research weapons, read the newspapers and act!!!!!!!!

  • Best Punisher theme

  • very good movie I recommend it to buy it

  • The world needs a Frank Castle.

  • @CrossConsoleGamer- The way our society is going...it might just happen.

  • Awsome theme.

    5/5 stars.

  • nice theme

  • "SOMEBODY HAS TO PUNISH THE CORRUPT" ... The Punisher.. A Legend!(H)

  • that is the best movie of punisher

  • that little bit at 1:48 is so frickin cool - gives me goosebumps

  • I expect a sequel of this wonderful movie , with the same director and same actors, and the same people who chosed the soundtrack in war zone,

  • Ray says in a interview its gona be a sequel BUT they have so many scripts and villians to chose but he said they were aiming for Barracuda.

  • great theme

  • Besides this movie was awesome, I think that the main titles of punisher war zone is the best ever made, never saw a movie with a such a good entrance as that, just my opinion

  • "Somebody has to punish the corrupt.."

    Awesome movie

  • "Sometimes I'd like to get my hands on God"

Also a great line from a awesome movie

  • Another great line from the film

"If i see you in Hell, I'll kick your ass out."

and the best scene in the film-The grenade explosion in mid air blowing up the guy. I laugh every time.

  • I agree with you!

  • @Asianmanchan When you really think about it , that`s Frank`s backhanded idea of A Compliment as it shows he felt Carlos , unlike himself , didn`t deserve to go to Hell ! Frank`s come A Long Way from The Guy who wanted to become A Priest but couldn`t forgive people who broke Commandments and thus became A Marine , instead !

  • This is the best soundtrack ever made so as this movie

  • The DVD is selling well. I smell sequel.

  • @electric7508 Yhea i heard somewhere that it made more than 50 mils from dvd sales.I really want a sequel with Ray!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This is the darkest intro to a film I've ever heard. Very well done. PUNISHER: WAR ZONE is one of the best films I've watched. Ray Stevenson is truly THE PUNISHER.

  • This movie was great especially in describing characters such as Jigsaw in Genesis (justice) score and this one for the punisher character at the beginning!! Ray says in a press that they are comig with a great musical arrangement next time for the introduction in a sequel like the one used in the Undertaker Rest in peace!!! but that is just an opinnion for himself!!

  • This is a SERIOUS improvement over Carlo Siliotto's nice (but incredibly lethargic) compositions from the 2004 remake with Tom Jane ! This is even darker and more powerful than Dennis Dreith's score from the 1989 original with Dolph Lundgren ! I hope this becomes Punisher's theme in future films... unless they can come up with something even better.

  • Hey, could you send me this song please? This song really reflects on my personality.

  • i recomand u to use advanced sound recorder - just google it..

this way u can record every sound/music u want

  • this was perfect for the intro in warzone

  • sounds alot similar to the score they used in the game

  • I am quite sure that was their intent.

  • 0:40-1:15 is my favorite part. This was a killer intro song.

  • amazing!

  • Is this movie still playing? I wanna see it...AGAIN!!

  • Damn I love this score!!! So EPIC

  • Could you possibly send this song to me?

  • yes just give me your email :)

  • Mind sending it my way as well?

  • they got castle perfectly, although it was cool to see one of his classic villians like jigsaw, i never really like him in the comics to begin with, i always saw him as a ripoff from the joker, although his death scene was awsome lol.

  • I very much enjoyed Warzone not to mention the fact that they got Frank Castle/Punisher and Jigsaw dead on it was very faithful to the source Matirial for sure and I love the score it's almost reminsent to jerry goldsmith's score for Ramboo.

  • their both great, both work for both settings and takes on the character, this is the music for the max punisher, although im glad they did a mix of classical and metal, that was cool.

  • Is this score out?

  • Yup it's out already!

    Check amazon

  • All I can find is the soundtrack with various artists on it. Not the score.

  • this song sound very familar...if i am not mistaken, this song was play at the opening scene with punisher preparing his weapons for another night of war with the criminals. thanks for uploading it.

  • well this theme is alot better than the one from the first one!

  • no it isnt. this theme rocks, dont get me wrong, but the other one is just an untouchable classic.

  • I don't think its completely fair to put one score on a pedestal, I mean look at it this way: War Zone and the 2004 Thomas Jane film are trying to present two very different takes on Frank Castle. While the 2004 film had many western film inspirations (even in the music score itself), War Zone is taking a much more contemporary route.

With that said, I love both scores to both films and I'm just relieved that War Zone's music score wasn't a half-hearted synth score.

  • i just read what you said word for word, and thought about it for a few minutes. and i must say, youre absolutely right. you got it right on to the T. nice. and thanks for posting this song, is this song on the soundtrack?

  • ya good point. I just thought this theme seemed more a like heroic and dark theme than the other. It just suited the character better to me.

  • You're not alone. I didn't like Carlo Siliotto's score at all, and felt that it was better for a Captain America movie than the Punisher.

  • That could not have been phrased better GabeShadow666! Right on!

  • Glad to hear I'm not alone in this. Thanks for the compliment.

  • No sir! That was "right on the money".

  • Glad to hear I'm not alone in this. Thanks for the compliment.

  • I'll agree with you partially here JARK86; but we need to remember that "The Punisher" started off as an Ex-SF Assassin sent to kill Spiderman. Then, they refined the character, but kept his "hard core" violent ways. The first version with T. Jane was more contemporary and made for younger viewers; you had the "Western" style music too; the good looking guy; the cute girl after him etc. Here, the "Dark Theme" goes well with the character that is "truer" to the Marvel image. Just my two cents.

  • The score in the 2004 movie was great to me. The theme was tragic/heroic at the same time. The score during the film was pretty menacing too.

War Zone's score was just badass. This song here during the main titles gave that "he's going to kick some ASS" feeling.

  • @JARK86 agreed. war zone was much more in tone with the comics

  • @theNICAguy It doesn't take much to make a punisher movie in tone with the comics. It does however take talent to make a movie. Unfortunately the Screen writer, script writer and producer didn't have any when they made this movie. This movie is absolute bullocks

  • it was cool to see them but they where pretty lame the way they presented them, pitsy didnt have a big bloody fight with castle, but he did get his head blown off which was how the fight ended.

  • so the gun fight at bradstreet hotel (nod to artist tim bradstreet) or the raid on the russoitti mansion wasnt big enough of bloody fight? LOL

  • awesome score

the movie was good... but it needed better dialogue and character development... the villains were kind of lame also... I really hope we get a sequel so they can fix those problems

  • Awesome score and soundtrack. The music was powerful and well orchestrated. The songs picked fit the character and the theme was very catchy. I liked it. Well done here too. I must say; one of my favorite, if not MY favorite movies of the year.

  • Finally, the perfect score for its respective hero. I'd say it's on equal ground with Danny Elfman for the older Batman movies in terms of being memorable. Hell, it placed the scores for the Spider-Man and X-Men movies to motherfucking shame.

  • love this music, that was cool in the pwz when jigsaw got alot of castles villians from the max series at the end.

  • The soundtrack is just as good as the movie. Fuck the critics, watch the movie. Honestly, it is for Punisher fans and Vigilante lovers only and it rocks. Only problem was the plot, which wasn't bad, just thin. But the best part of the film is the Punisher, who is well acted, looks like the punisher, and a very deep character with real issues.

  • RiskyMenProductions...you hit it right on the nose. Screw the critics; remember, these critics also bombed Scarface when it first came out. Look what they are saying now? If you are a "hard core" action, military, combat etc. fan...this IS your film. Loved it from beginning to end. Good critique on your part.

  • finnaly the meanest vigilante got his own sound.this actually has depth!

  • it kinda reminds me of the gears of war theme, awesome too 5***** + Fav

  • Now finally the Punisher has his sound

  • very fitting. excellent work. thank god its not just awful metal songs. this is a complement to the fans! thank u

  • Love it! Thanks for posting!!

  • This is exactly what the movie needs. It has plenty of good songs on the track, just needed the instrumental suspense piece.
