  • Of course Romania would be in favour of this. Hell hole of a country. No to USE!!

  • very true!!!!! UNITED WE STAND DIVIDED WE FALL! GOD BLESS THE UNITED STATES OF EUROPE!

  • As an American, I feel I should insert some input here. We have tried this before. America unified its states because people of power said we must have it. So we got it and then came the empire and global manipulation. Europe's history has a few spots where men have tried to unify Europe. How did that turn out?

  • ... And so democracy will die as another wave of unwanted, unelected governance attempts to take over Europe without the consent of its people.

    1939 all over again .....

  • United in diversity...

    United socialists...

    United capitalists...

    United with your sister...

    United with your mom...

    United States of United States...

    United in united...

    United in crimes...

    United in purple,

    The color of Rome...

  • We can start to talk about Europe becoming stronger on the world stage once the home front is sorted out. The European parliament, commission and all bodies of the EU don't connect with the people. You can't serve people who wishes you cannot hear.

We need the EU, we don't need the USE, even if we want it.

  • It's good to see that there are open-minded people out there....

  • U(S)E without a Constitution voted by the citizens through european referendum (and enriched/evolved through amendments also in referendums) is just an EUSSR.

  • Article 1

    (1) Romania is a sovereign, independent, unitary and indivisible National State.

    (2) The form of government of the Romanian State is a Republic.

    ...

    (4) The State shall be organized based on the principle of the separation and balance of powers -legislative, executive, and judicial - within the framework of constitutional democracy.

    (5) In Romania, the observance of the Constitution, its supremacy and the laws shall be mandatory.

  • Article 2

    (1) The national sovereignty shall reside within the Romanian people, that shall exercise it by means of their representative bodies, resulting from free, periodical and fair elections, as well as by referendum.

    (2) No group or person may exercise sovereignty in one's own name.

  • @RomaniaTricolor Constitutions are not divine commandments. They can be changed if necessary.

  • "USE is essential or death." - Yes, just like the USA was the death of the British colonies..oh, wait!

  • Its funny how it is only some EU elites who claim that a USE is essential or death. No other countries in the world are jumping to give up their sovereignty and hand it over to a centralist state thousands of miles away. This USE bullshit is so dumb that it stinks, so whoever wants to lose their democracy in favour of a eu super centralist state then more fool you.

  • @EUrealitycheck1

    "USE is essential or death."

First Im not part of a elite, and wasn´t influenced by most their views, but by the views of some federalists, many of which don´t even favor this neo liberal Union, taking it as a incomplete project, and a avoidance of the initial one.

Lack of unity in Europe will be its downfall, only idiots can´t see it,this is so obvious that it stinks, you islanders have a channel protecting you,we in the continent on the other hand don´t.

  • @ViriathusVingathor My island is not in the channel. And in any case WTF do you need protection from? This is the 21 century, wars are not fought by soldiers and tanks, swords or arrows anymore. If China, or Russia wanted to destroy you, then a nuclear weapon of theirs would have already done so. Seas do not protect anyone in todays world. The EU federalists simply change their reasons for wanting a federal europe as and when it suits them.

  • @EUrealitycheck1

Its very sad,but it is the fear of nuclear weapons that keeps peace in the world, and once they can be intercepted, conventional war will return in a huge scale, far more terrible than before, that if the first power to be able to intercept them doesn´t decide to take advantage of it,and fully submit whole nations by blackmail.

  • @EUrealitycheck1

Europeans high civilization, and collective war traumas, bringing high development, but also almost infinite tolerance,at the point of suicide, makes us unable to see the real world,we see others departing from us,this reasoning is naive and wrong, unfortunately.

  • @EUrealitycheck1

Despite some places in the world are civilizationally, morally and in some rare cases technologically equals to us,take for instance Japan, with deep traumas and historical experiences very alike those in Europe, today they are so civilized with fierce humanist values,I doubt for greater ascendance they had, that they would go on a Imperialist rampage, just like us,the same with India,a peace loving entity, with very ancient notions of humanism.

  • @EUrealitycheck1

We have nothing to fear from those,we have to fear China a civilization that shifted almost completely from what it was, seeing today human life as totally expendable,Russia, that was perfectly described by Churchill(a great political genius)"a mystery inside a riddle, inside a......",and of course the very dangerous corporativist dictatorship across the Atlantic, adding to the emergence Brasil, seemingly peace loving, but in fact war like, and Imperialist.

  • @EUrealitycheck1

America(except Canada and other small countries in latin America, humbled by poverty) is in a sense the black water of european civilization, and in time given the chance, they will show it,not just the USA.

  • @EUrealitycheck1

Lately I was in touch with some EU developments,Its clear to me this EU has lost all credibility, its undemocratic part is more than enough in this, reinforced by subsequent decisions,I hope for the good of us all that this EU,it is as soon as possible either reformed democratically,or dissolved, and replaced, with fully credible and accountable institutions.

I believe we still have time, not a eternity.

  • @ViriathusVingathor Oh how i agree with U here good sir. Its time for the current EU federalists to stop telling fairytales about the current anti-democratic nature of the EU and just accept that as it is now, the EU is anti-democratic to the core. Only then will Europe be able to realise its flaws and full potential be re-creating the EU in a better, more equal and fair union of sovereign nations who sit down together at the table and work out issues without being spoonfed orders from brussells

  • Man, this leader is right! The British have stirred a fright on us to talk about the posibility of more integration, in order to create the USE. The British are free to follow us or no, but they can't stand in the way with ambiguous postures.

Thank you Prime Minister for your good sense, and greetings to all my Euro connationals from a boy, who is Subdit of the King of Spain and... European Citizen (Im soo proud of both of them).

  • and the new President Von Rompuy is part of the Bilderberg Group??? any correllation? and the one guy who tried to speak up against him has a plane accident...hmmmmm

  • Did anyone know that the fromer EU president "Barosso" was part of the communist Mao movement???

  • It's not really surprising, this coming from a Romanian politician. Since they're too stupid to run their own country successfully, they think they could just "stockpile" all these liabilities to Brussels instead.

    Very clever huh?

    Not.

  • @Pinstripe6666

USE is fundamental to the future of Europe, not this EU,a degeneration of the European dream,Im not even talking about the small, today big european countries are great powers in the world,in just 50 years they will be nothing special, and so on until they will be nearly nothing.

    Its unite or die.

  • @ViriathusVingathor

    "Its unite or die."

See, and that's exactly what they want us to believe. It's nonsense.

What are you afraid of? That the Chinese or Russians are gonna steal your wymens if Europe isn't a single state? Don't be silly. That way of thinking is so 20th century.

  • @Pinstripe6666

"That way of thinking is so 20th century."

The militarism and lack of human rights in USA,China,Russia, continues,USA is even a moral regress of what it was once, morally little has changed in regard to the XX century, lets see what happens in the Arab world,it can go to the better,or for the worst, resuming,Imperialism, money and strength,is still the way of this planet, and will continue to be for centuries more.

  • I don't feel united with the romanian people !!!

  • @FreeRhuna

    Exactly.

  • Well here we go ! Dismantel all that we are ....

Im tottaly sick of EU ....

I want my democraty and fredom back!!

  • @caligor89 If yout totally insane like I am, The EU IS fun. I find ways to make it fun, with my Imaaaaginaaation.

  • @caligor89 EU is democracy and freedom. Which of your "rights" or "freedoms" was taken away from you because of the EU?

  • USE doesn't mean losing our cultures. This will come out to be a very natural process that will happen in a few centuries. Nobody stops us from preserving our culture, but we should remember that progress means change. Let us see the benefits of globalisation and federalisation. Countries are our present, USE is the future.

(I'm a Romanian that loves his country, and Europe, too)

  • @silviubogan1 Exactly, Like I live in Pittsburgh, USA now. Pittsburgh actually has a different culture than other US cities and they have different cultures too. Being a USE doesn't mean losing your cultures at all. My family is from Krakow, Poland so I follow this to see what's still going on back home. We won't lose our cultures.

  • @1987infowarrior How is the idea of a USE communist? If you look into the history of the USA, you'll see that all the states used to be independent states, they have all formed together (though it took a civil war to do it.) and formed the USA. Is the USA communist? No, it is not. Have you lived in Canada? There are two distinct cultures in Canada and have existed since the creation of Canada, there is the English culture and the French culture and they exist side by side.

  • @Leifthrasir thx for reply. I hope your not american because you obviously dont know the American History, The civil war in American did not unite the States, this was long accomplished by the founding fathers (Wasshington, Jefferson and John Adams and more) way before the civil war. Maybe you should read a little bit more and get your facts straight then we can talk about the EU. 85 year gap between the times of the civil war... im not even american and i know that...

  • @1987infowarrior Actually I do know, trying to compress it all into 500 characters means leaving out certain details.

  • I would vote for formation of U.S.E.

  • The most optimistic thing I heard today!

  • Rut Roh Rorge, and the One World Gooberment begins the rise of Rome again ! Be scared folks, very scared !

  • @hobo59 Go back in the closet with your fear mongering propaganda!

  • @Pinstripe6666

Stupid European doesn't know what's good for his continent

  • @TeriyakiSouped very well said again...

  • @TeriyakiSouped

Keep the fail confined to your own country please. Thanks.

  • @Pinstripe6666 Very well said... thank you...

  • Good to see another European leader openly discussing this

  • @TeriyakiSouped Amazed to see a YouTube comment not flaming this! :-O

    I'm all for USE!

  • @saltpeterjunky The issue should be discussed openly. Across europe parties don't mention it because they fear for their votes (especially the conservatives) which causes a nasty gap between what they say to win elections and what they do because it is necessary.

But the discussion should be controverse. There are too many problems and obvious flaws in the EU to become a federation in the next 20 yrs.

  • @BugMagnet What are these problems, and why the 20 year time-stamp?

  • @bungleminge Insufficient structural clarity. The commission has over 60 side agencies and most of them are superficial.

Uneffectice administrative structure, besides being well oversized the administration and legal structure of hte EU is that of a free trade agreement combined with a heap of unnecessary subventions (disastrous agricultural and fishing policies) and not propper division of powers like any democracy needs to have.

It will take decades to take care of those problems
