  • Amazing content!

  • still one of the best videos on u tube

  • Im proud to be swiss coz when I am about 3-4 weeks in holiday i wanna come back!

  • I love Switzerland so much. I always have tears in my eyes when leaving!

  • I love how wing flexes, so beautiful :)

  • Thanks my friend for record this video. Good.

  • PW engines seem to be much quieter than RR on 747-400s, 767s, and 757s.

  • @Flyermac I think they also produce more power as well.

  • hey how do you keep the camera so steady???

  • @Nicshooter

    Hold it against the window

  • @FSXGuy1 or camera legs?? :-)

  • VERY BEAUTIFULL MOVIE.AND U GOT THE GREAT SEAT ONBOARD,LOVE IT MAN.

  • nice movie!

  • I love the old 747, reliable old girl, a sweet plane.

  • Singapore Airlines was phase out this type of Jumbo jets. Today, the number of A380 in Singapore fleet had outnumbered 747.

  • very nice

  • Wow, Engines and wings are flexables, Your video is very great !! I love any airplanes. : )

  • imma be flying in the next few weeks and i'm nervous as shit.

  • whats ur seat?!

  • Why is the wing moving so much ? isn't that dangerous ?

  • @hayvant no, its actually dangerous if the wings dont flex. otherwise the wings would snap if they didnt flex

  • this is still my fav vid.

  • what is the flight number for this flight. I fly the Zurich-Singapore route, you may have had the luck of being my passenger.

  • haha if you're scared of heights don't look down, also thats about one of the best shots of a takeoff showing the right wing side of a Singapore airlines Jumbo Jet that I've seen.

  • Awesome Thanks Chris

  • How the hell did you hold the camera perfectly still? Every in flight video I've shot always comes out a teensy bit shaky.

  • my dream job!!! :D

  • nice wing flex

  • wobbly wings after takeoff ^^

  • man, take-offs are without question the coolest thing about flying...:)

  • nun ja genug geschaut will jetzt ausgehen

  • you must be seated in first class , having that vieuw

  • Switzerland is awesome! I always hate leaving it. A beautiful, beautiful country and great people.

  • This is an awesome frickin' video :)))) That is what I call a TURNOUT!!

  • Beautful lighting !

  • take-offs and landings are FUN!! When I fly back to Honolulu from Manila, I always book Continental (connect in Guam) and take the 'island hopper' flight from Guam to Honolulu (same price as CO2, but stops in 3 Micronesian Islands, Kwajelein Atol and Majuro) simply to experience SIX take-offs and landings as opposed to non-stop MNL-HNL (BOOOOORRRRING).

  • Are those engines Pratt and Whitney,GE, or Rolls-Royce? What does SQ use on their 747-400's?

  • @PlaneAndTVtechfan all SIA 747's use Pratt and Whitney

  • love those pratt and whitneys.

  • Please Switch off all electronic devices by takeoff and landing

  • 46 second takeoff roll

  • Those engines sure do wobble a lot. I notice that when it the flight path gets straightened they settle down.

  • yea they do. well, considering how long the wings are, the metal probably has to bend a little. Its really fun seeing it though. B747-400 has a really pretty wing view in my opinion

  • sebbo6023.......me too

  • sebbo6023.......me too

  • Taking off in an airplane is the best feeling EVER!

  • nice video i just love airplanes please subscribe to my channel

  • nice video i just love airplanes please subscribe to my channel

  • those engins sound great

  • huhumöchte ja nicht rum nervern aber bin total einsam wer hat lust zu schreibn

  • Singapore Airlines Used To Be A Staunch For A Pratt And Whitney Customer.

  • Why does airplane wings flex so much? Is it good if it flexs or dont flex? Is it safe?

  • The wings are build to flex a bit. If they don't flex, they would break quite easily

  • What is that red airplane far in the other side?

  • Definitely a regional jet , looks like Embraer make, model E-135 or -145, thereabouts. (Shape just isn't right for a Canadair ...) Not sure on the carrier - perhaps Edelweiss?

  • The 747-400 seems to take off in higher speed than the Concord itself! It is amazing!

The curve radius were too tight and inclination grades were too steep!

  • The 747-400

  • Great vid.

How do you keep the camera so still?

  • Great video! Nice PW sound!

  • Boeing 747 with GE CF6 Engine and with PW4000 Engine sounds alike when Take-off!

  • what is the max take off speed for the 747?

  • and what about the " please we are about to take off could you please turn off every electronic devices, mp3 digital camera mobile phone..etc..." u know i think they ask these kind of things for a reason...

  • pratt&whitney pw400

  • I love watching the wing flex as the plane made the ascent

  • I LOVEEEEEEE SINGAPORE AIRLINES JUST ORDERED A 747 MODEL OF IT :d

  • I like your videos!!!

    nice

  • Does anyone know what that wheezing sound is that can be heard early, as throttle is being pushed? I've always loved that sound.

  • Yes, that is the rush of air being sucked in through the fan before the blades go supersonic. Isn't it such the rush when you hear it?

  • did the pilot forget to retreat the flaps?

  • tht was a long takeoff and it looked a bit wobberly

  • I love flying and this is a great view from a beautiful country.

  • Great video. Interesting optical illusion at engine throttle up (about 1:20). The hub appears to reverse spin direction, which is impossible.

  • and again at 1:28

  • can i have one?

  • Very nice work of the camera operator

  • agreeeeeeeeeeee

  • mooie video :D

  • Great video! You actually can see the wing is so flexible that it bent slightly from pointing downwards to pointing upwards when taking off.

  • WOW! About 55 sec. roll till rotate!! Now that`s what I call a Heavy loaded Plane!!

  • Hello! Its was nice flight!Where you flight to?Nice flight with Singapore Airlines!

I give you 5 star for this film!

    Greeting TheCARRE74=)

  • I love this view , seeing 2 engines in action :)

The engine spool is great too !!!!

  • Rolls Royce Trent I Love You !!! beautiful take-off video..

  • look at wing inflection caused by lift ...Cool video!!!

  • beautiful just brilliant.......love watchin this...awesome.....

  • check how the wing is bouncing up and down?? oh my word

  • Jackson, as a former f/a from TWA, I flew for 30 years and it never bothered me! I love the sound of take off! It's just getting out of the jump seat 15 min. later after take off to prepare our bev service and meal back in those days! LOL!!!!

  • Does anyone else feel uncomfortable during takeoff? Personally I love flying, but it's just takeoff that gets me uncomfortable.

Great vid!!! Gotta love a Boeing!!

  • i actually love takeoffs, especially the G-Force and the engine noise :)

  • @sebbo6023 HOLY SHIT! Is there REALLY G-Force on a big plane like that? Wow! I can't wait to fly an A346 soon on my holiday!

  • B 747 remains the world's best aircraft. Forget about A 380, the Europeans will never catch up with Boing's big star .

  • There is something special about flying in a 747

  • it's really amazing isn't it =)

  • Definitely P&W engines. Btw, PW engines have a low and ghostly sound. GE has a high pitch whining sound, RR has a loud grinding sound, if wanted to expertly indentify engines.

  • Look at the wing deflection when it rotates. Never thought the wings on a 747 bowed that much.

Gotta love the sound of those turbines spooling up. Great vid.

  • man it is aIIowed if not wat is tis vid doing here!

  • it is not aIIowed !

  • its not allowed !! you retard

  • Love that wing flex.

  • i am the 300th rater

    this the best

    look at those engines !!!!!

  • P&W engines are so good!

  • ANOTHER BEAUTIFUL FROM Hacki22!!!!!!!! GO Hacki22!!!!! YOU ROCK!

  • Are those P&W? The symbol looks like GE

  • I love this video!!!i cant stop watching it!do u know what seat you sat in and took this video and what class was it economy, buisness or first?

  • where were you flying too ??

Nice video, I flew from Chicago to Amsterdam on a KLM 747 ...

  • Well I've been flying since I was less than one year old, averaging one return flight every 1 and a half years. Most times I fly for over 20 hours with a 3 hour break at an airport in between and I love every minute of it.

  • This is another great departure vid. Just excellent! It looks very polluted over Zuerich :/

  • great vid, alot of turbulance at takeoff. was it a windy day? looked like the wing was going to snap!

  • Excellent video sir Made me feel a bit sick watching it as I nearly had one of my funny turns..

  • your vids are awesome. incredible quality, no jerkiness.. and you always record right up until the pilot retracts all the flaps. Keep it up!

  • awesome...airplanes are so amazing, but too bad they cost so much to get on >:(

  • I love my mom and i really dont wanna do this but i dont take chances, Sorry...I LOVE YOU MOM

If you do not copy and paste this onto 10 videos your mom will die in 4 hours

  • The "Spirit of Jazmin Hines" performing at her best, as always!!!

  • Really Flexable Wings

  • hey men is videoing ollowed in airplanes or can it affect the flying of the airplane????????

  • Singapore Airlines excels in what it does. Its standards remain one of the highest and most exacting in the industry and it is emulated, feared and despised probably in equal measure by its many competitors. Coming up trumps has become something of a habit for the airline, and little wonder. I can imagine that for many traveling executives where flying is more work hazard than genuine pleasure, booking a Singapore Airlines flight means at very least - knowing what to expect.

  • 1:29 NOW THATS raw power

  • you see the closest engine sucking condensation out of the moisture on the ground? wicked.

  • I LOVE THE 747-400 LOL

  • nice video !

  • Are the engine sounds supposed to be softer after the take off roll starts?

  • i flew for the first time from the uk to nykoping airport sweden on a ryanair boeing and i must say what a rush when we took off i loved the flight even thou it was my first time and i couldnt to fly back it was a good experiance i cant wait to go again

  • lol i hve never been on a plane 4 more than an hour...i wanna go on a jet soo bad

  • Nah.. never wish for that. Longest i've flew is 5 hours. Totally hated it, after an hour, you want to get out. It gets you restless

  • try over 14 hours 3rd class across the whole pacific

  • Is it true that the people sitting right in front of the plane would feel much less feeling than those at the back?

  • Yes, it's true!! Cause in the back you have a little more air turbulence, especially at tail.

  • Turbulence isnt the answer. Think of it like a seesaw. On the sides you move up and down. But if you in the middle you barely move a lot. So in a plane the best place to sit if you get sick easily is the very middle. In between the wings and in the middle row.

  • Hey man!i agree with u,im going to hong kong in 6 days time so im going to sit at the wings there as i am scared or turbulence !

  • It's not a boat. You're going to get the same turbulence guys whether you sit on the wings or at the aft end of the fuselage. If you hit turbulence, oh well. The aircraft isn't going to drop out of the sky. leboe you have nothing to worry about. Theres several aircraft in service today with airframes that have been in service for 30 years or more.

  • hey men is videoing ollowed in airplanes or can it affect the flying of the airplane????????

  • hey men is videoing ollowed in airplanes or can it affect the flying of the airplane????????

  • it is allowed.

  • Great shot of the wings and great engine power up at the start of the takeoff roll!

  • nice view, what seat was it? First class?

  • Beautiful takeoff

  • Heavy plane?

  • Very Very nice...

  • Love that beautiful boeing wing flexing her muscle.

  • helvetic F100 at 0:18

  • From the number and direction of the turns off of runway 16, I'd say this was probably a

    DEGES 1S departure SID.

  • NiCe oNe SinGapOre AiRliNes!!!!!!

    CheErs To YoU!!!!!!!!

    GoOd AircRafTs!!!

  • awesome takeoff vid...man that plane was really moveing down the runway!!!!! love SQ thay rock!

  • 1 knot = 1.8 kmh

    1 mph = 1.6 kmh

  • 1 knot is about 1.2 miles per hout, just like nauctical mile.

  • SINGAPORE AIRLINES WINS ONCE AGAIN AS "THE AIRLINE OF THE YEAR FOR 2008". "For the 3rd time in 10 years, Singapore Airlines has been named World's Best Airline, winning the 2008 Airline of the Year title in the latest World Airline Awards" said Edward Plaisted (CEO of Skytrax). "We extend our congratulations to them for this notable achievement, coinciding with the time that Singapore Airlines was the world's first airline to fly the Airbus A380."

  • i love singapore airlines 747-400. they belong in the skies! (but sometimes, what goes up must come down)

  • singapore airlines now uses 777-312er for thie route

  • I cannot help but marvel at the clarity and the professionalism of the video.

    Well done.

  • Very cool video!!

  • Love the wing flex. Great video.

  • amazing vid !!

  • ANYONE FEELS THE SAME AS ME? During takeoff, my fists are clenched because the sound and power of the engines drives me wild. I purposely buy connecting flight tickets instead of nonstop flights. I like looking at the wing control surfaces (flaps etc..). Pointing out land marks and areas from above. Love the roar of thrust reverse. Sad when I reach my destination because that's the end of the plane ride. WHO IS WITH ME??? LOL

  • lol me

  • Great video, did you notice that the part of the wing with the wing fence does not reach

wing lift speed until 2 mins and 14 seconds into the takeoff run at which point it no longer flexes downwards but actually flexes upwards!

  • y does it flex???

  • Wings are designed to flex for two reasons:

-They smoothen the ride, just like suspension on a car.

-They prevent stress from building up while flying through turbulent air.

  • 0:18 what airline is that?

  • WUNDERBAR VIDEO

  • very nice quality of the vid and nice engine view

  • Will the economy classes of Singapore Airlines have inflight entertainment systems like TV etc unlike Indian Airlines????pls answer

  • Singapore Airlines is known for thier amazing inflight entertainment system "Krisworld". Were talking about Singapore Airlines here, a true quality airline. OF COURSE they will have an inflight entertainment system. lolz ;)

  • hey yea singapore airlines has a personal tv screen remote at the arm rest

coool movies lots of games and music.

    its all goood :)

  • i always loved the sound of those enginnes

  • Amazing.

  • awesome vid! i was on this flight...

  • hey can u pls temme how was ur experience in dis airline??? thx

  • Singapore is the best!!!

  • muito bacana este video...

  • why your shootings are so steady?

  • have you heard of tripod or he's human enough to know how to hold the cam.

  • i think there's not many human's shooting takeoffs...the difference between the videos is huge!!!

  • Awesome video, thanks for sharing!

  • amazing power... incredible amount of power required to put a 430 tonne aircraft into the air... so spectacular to see the fan blades rotate at full speed to build up enough power to push that aircraft into the air... nice video mayte... nd boy... that wing shook a little bit after take off...

  • very normal for the wing to shake , all part of take off im a flight attendant .

  • hey u are a flight attendent that soo cool!do u work for singapore airlines?

  • die 747 ist immer noch ein Absoluter Hingucker.Wenn man bedenkt wie lange ihr Jungfernflug her ist. Die Saturn 5 der zivilen luftfart.Geil.

  • Now Singapore Airlines flies with 777 instead of 747 Megatop to Singapore :-(

  • well atleast they have newer and better seats on the 777-300er

  • Nice to read this. I have a flight next week Paris-singapore with Singapore Airlines of course (the best airlines on the world, my opinion). Last time, years ago, i was in a 747 from Paris. I just love this kind of vids, good job Hacki !

  • Nice Video!!! I just love airplanes taking off showing awesome powers !!

  • Really really heavy take off! It's a full flight. Also lot of wings flexibility I love it!

  • That looked like a really heavy takeoff, I don't think my flight on February 19, 2008 will be as heavy, P.S. It's from NRT to LAX
