Nicely done but OHMSS was my first Bond film and I have always been a Lazenby fan. He could have knocked the stuffing out of Moore, Brosnan, Dalton and Craig - and probably given Connery a run for his money, too.

I've read that Lazenby's only previous acting experience was a non-speaking role in chocolate bar commercials. Apparently, Lazenby was on board for "diamonds are Forever" but his manager thought the Bond films were headed nowhere and issued a premature press release stating that Lazenby was turning his back on the part (Lazenby unaware of this until he read about it). I've always wondered what direction his career would've taken had he done that next film.
