This has got 2 be 1 of THE best, if not THE best collection of commercials here. This has taken me back 2 my childhood days. I have ALWAYS loved that short Santa Claus Is Coming To Town jingle.
I'm a Nabisco ad junkie!
I remember singing that Twix ad everytime it came on.
And.....WOW! PERFECTION? SUPERFECTION??? I had both of them.
I'm in TIME MACHINE HEAVEN!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!
If you want to sell a computer to many people who have never heard of them, is it a good idea to use an annoying robot voice which is tough to understand?
That McDonald's song is very tuneless.
I wonder who they hired to have knocking, glittery knees.
@skystarless By producing ads with talking or anthropomorphic animals (it wasn't just dogs, there was also Morris the cat) it makes kids want to get a dog or cat even more than usual, which increases pet ownership and sales of pet food. At least that's my take on that trend.
I wanna say I've seen Better Cheddars around here somewhere, but I could be imagining things. I -know- they still make Sociables, though. I had some a couple weeks ago at the in-laws' place.
That little girl hugging the Feelin' Special kitty looks like Heather O'Rourke, but I doubt it's really her.
I remember that old version of Perfection, but I've never even heard of Superfection. Looks impossible!
All I have to say about Wrinkles is: Everyone is different. No two people are not on fire.
I am pretty ashamed to say I had the Feelin Special Kitty. I was four and I loved all things electronic, and I'm sure it's something my dad got for me just because it belched. I couldn't remember what it was called until I saw the ad, so thanks.
If I remember right keanu reeves was in babes in toyland too when he was a lil kid

We used to love Perfection and Superfection --that game was SUPER hard! I sucked at it but it was fun.

Also, how come all these 80s dog food ads are obviously targeted to kids?

CHips Ahoy commercial features Eric from Entourage. I liked Wrinkles. They were modeled after Cabbage patch Kids..no two were the same

I love how the 80s were already thinking retro/classic, in terms of the 70s-era Perfection commercial.
