I need some help about 4 months ago i had a jumping accident i was jumping a jump about 2'5 when my foot hit the bar and for some reason the jump did not collasp like it was supposed to so i flipped and landed hard on my back and spun around twice now i need to know how to get my conifdence back to i can do anything instead of wimping out at every high jump i see
If my horse saw a pony jump 4 foot one time every one was makein a fuss over the pony sooo when i cantered him by it the thought that going over it would be a good idea... so hears what i think went threw his mind... "lalalala no way....well damn..... Oh come on any one could do that. psh hold on up there cuz ima show these minis how its done... ok I remimber how this goes... *deep breath* and one two three, one two three and ju-ohoh omg yep somthin just poped...i think i just broke my hip..."
@1233Maya he refused... kinda, i wasnt really askin him to jump it but anyway, he swerved and he was fine but somthing did pop i was like "oh sh!t" lol he use to be a good jumper but now the highest he jumps now is like 2 foot on a good day... not cuz he cant go any higher just cuz we are working up to probly 3 foot then ima stop so we can focus on barrels :) But he'd jump any thing i point him at... he may throw a fit about canterin around but i have to hold him back before any jump :)
Well done! =D I can do 3ft6, so not quite as high as you, but I am 3inches smaller than you so you can let me off a little XD Ignore saddleclub17, she's obviously not the sharpest tack in the draw! You're very talented! =D
@saddleclub17 Canter is a 3-beat gait, requiring 4 legs, and gallop is a 4-beat gait, also requiring 4legs. This is a human, and only has 2 legs, and therefore cantering or galloping isn't possible! Also, I jump 3ft6, and to clear that I need to make myself as comfortable as possible as I run up to the jump otherwise I won't clear it. She cleared a huge jump which, judging by your comment, I highly doubt you could. So, comment nicely and sensibly, or not at all.
Hmmmm i need to try a different technique to jump these higher jumps because the highest i have been able to jump is 3 and 1/2 i cant seem to get to 4ft. and it also doesnt help much that i havent been outside jumping for almost 3+ months
I find it easier to jumped the way you do, like one leg over 1st, i am 5'4 and i just found out today i can tuck knees in and do 4 :D, hope to get a vid up well done.

@Stephyyism Ha thanks :D xxx

for me, it doesnt count, you need to canter/gallop to the fence to actualy "count" it as clearing it. nice try though.
saddleclub17 2 years ago
I'm not a horse. I don't canter/gallop. Aha. I jumped the fence with out knocking it. I'm pretty sure thats what you call 'clearing a jump'.
