  • SOPA would probably try to stop us from seeing this

  • May God be blessed you with a Golden Voice, Mr. Choi. This video touched my heart. A young man who was homeless like almost his life making it to Korea's Got Talent. That judge in the middle, her voice was choked up in tears after she heard him sing an aria so good. Even the crowd was in tears the moment he sang. That is a true sign of empathy.

  • i thought that choi bong sung was the ugliest guy in that audition room but have a look at both guys behind the male judge at 9:00! hahahahaha!

    the middle judge is gorgeous!

  • Unbelievable!!! when I thought that hope was lost I come across this video and it just filled me with so much hope and inspiration to stand on my feet and keep on forwad.. Sung-Bong Choi Guatemala Loves you, God Bless!!!

  • This is amazing!!!

  • Amazing, absolutely inspirational. His singing brought me to tears. For him to still have hope for all that he has been through gives us hope that one day we will can make our dreams come true - no matter what the odds. His singing inspires us to follow our dreams & that nothing is impossible even in the mist of hardship or failure we must strive on & believe that one day we will make it & it will all be better. A voice of hope in the mist of tragedy - we are all blessed by his singing. BRAVO!!!

  • I cried watching that video. Poor kid must have lived a hard life. I saw him through his eyes that he knew he had a Golden Voice. Just blew everybody away singing an opera song and the judge in the middle was choking in tears after he gave them a beautiful performance. He was homeless and the original video went viral and I showed him some empathy of a hard life Sung-Bong Choi lived.

  • the five dislikes are from north korea

  • He was kidnapped and sold? How dreadful! No wonder he doesn't smile!

  • Bozanstveno!

  • Since I can't understand them, they can't understand me when I say, I'd like to bang the piss outta the chick in the middle.

  • Where is this Young Man "Impacting" others with his Voice and Soul at today...?

  • it's hard to read when there's no english subtitles....wish i knew what he said at the beginning to make the judges laugh....seems like he was funny.......and then they started asking questions...and that's when you knew he started getting a bit more sad.....so great....he's soo different when he sings...like he says....he's someone else...

  • someone please make subtitles for this video......

  • total goosebumps. he's magnificent

  • A voice of an angel. His story touched so many lives. Wish he keeps on singing and continue to be an inspiration to many. Stay strong and wish you a wonderful life ahead :-) God bless you always. Love from the Philippines :-)

  • @MrPuresoul11 exactly

  • english translation please!!!

  • I kinda felt for him in this. It looked like he might've even been concerned if they would accept him as a competitor. Obviously dissecting his life was something he'd of preferred to avoid. I noticed he relaxed more though when the younger lady engaged him more in conversation. I too would really like to see an english translation, although wikipedia does cast light on the full context.

  • from my experiences, if a kid who is living on the street for so many years, he won't has good teeth like him? look that healthy (strong)?

He is a Korean guy, and he can sing an ITALIAN song "Nella fantasia" ? (no education before)????

  • @jennylei He did say during questioning that matriculate at a Performing Arts High School. Open source news show that a professional musician assisted him in matriculating at the high school. However, because of the financial problems, Choi had trouble properly attending to school work.

  • @jennylei I can't answer Sung Bong's teeth relaiblty issue. But concerning his singing Italian, I think I can address this issue. Many singers from a variety of countries who enjoy a particular kind of music take great pains to learn one or several song in the language of the songs origin. Sung Bong was just one of those many people who connected that language & song. He did state he had taken a few Masters Classes. I'm sure that helped.

  • This guy's legit. The two female judges asked all the reasonable, yet probing questions. To otherwise usual questions, e.g., what do u do for a living, where do you live, what school, etc., Choi was forthright yet stressed and awkward. The third judge, sensing distress, declined to ask further personal questions. To Koleen Park's question why he chose classical music, Choi stated he couldn't really relate to the carefree and fun pop music given his circumstances.

  • Deng Choi Lost to the Dancing QUeen T.T

  • @77hyunam .....Are you able to watch the competition, and saying that Choi lost to Dancing Queen? Could you clarify that comment? Lost, as in not being the winner..or lost one round of competition? I wish someone would post this competition blow by blow. I mean look how many are interested in this! Can no one cover each step of this? I know if I lived in Korea, with the worldwide profound interest in this, would be posting it every step of the way.

  • @nighttrek Hi... well Choi made it to the Semi FInal as we all know and made his steps towards the Grand finale... there he lost the first Prize T.T bnut heck I assume that we will hear his music on CD soon ^^

  • @77hyunam ..Right. i followed up on it later. Thanks for taking the time to respond. I just wish that they had kept the vocally competition within itself...but I guess they do things differently. It really won't make a difference though..as you mentioned on coming out with a CD, I too am sure hes on his way. (-:

  • french translate please !

  • isnt it great if there were subtitles . . . even in raw video

  • podrian indicarme donde ncuentro el video donde descalifican a Sung Bong o que fue lo que paso, disculpen pero estoy confundido y no se que paso con el, ya que lo veia como favorito para ganar el concurso. por favor ayudenme , gracias

  • @mauriciotoquica

    Quedo segundo....

  • @MrPuresoul11

Yeah, you are right. One chooses to hear what you want to hear, or how you want to hear.

But it exactly means you by such a person. Blind people !

  • @MrPuresoul11

I also feel VERY VERY SORRY for his life!!!! It's definitely something we all can't even imagine. But what truth is truth and lie is lie. I myself was on stage many times and felt very nervous. but giving wrong answers to such questions with confidence has nothing much to do with being nervous. When he stated the fact, he didn't look so nervous, either. People always have a tendency to become blind after getting caught by or obsessed with sympathy.

  • These talent competitions are side show events. These judges are puzzled and can't get their hands around this talent. He is someone who doesn't need the attention of the crowd or the praise of the judges. He comes to this event not feeling anxious about the monetary prize or music contract. He just wants to bring pride to his school as little as that my seem. But it speaks volumes to his character as someone who wants to contribute to society through his voice.

  • it's ok.that's small lied,just nothing not important

  • He lied!

A judge asked if he ever had opportunities to sing, and he said "No, not at all"

After people cried and got impressed, he admitted the fact that he went to art school. he should have admitted it before singing.

  • @rabbitfoxlion That issue about Sung Bong's "lying" is an old, stale, and closed issue -- about 3 months old now. The producers of KGT cleared Sung Bong of any fault; turned out in the original interview he mentioned having attended this art school but could not get private lessons. The producers, in the interest of saving air time cut that portion. The issue of Sung Bong "lying" was put to rest. That was ALMOST THREE MONTHS AGO . Check first previous entries before making charges.

    .

  • @edmanuelsong

you dont understand my point of view. check first what the argument is about before making charges

  • @rabbitfoxlion he exactly understand your point of view, but you doesn't understand his point of view..and his one is better.

  • @rabbitfoxlion that is defenitely not true....how do you get this nonsense from?

  • Wow! The uncut version is even more sadder! I'm so tired of crying every time I see Sung Bong Choi sing!

  • New info in this uncut version.

Current housing: living in a house for junior household leaders for 3 years

    Dream: to do music

Training: Went to art high school, but there was no music teacher. He taught himself or took a few random lessons outside the school.

How he got into singing: He lived a rough life; kidnapped and sold before, chased by gangs, etc. One time, selling gum at a night club, he saw a performer singing a serious classic song, which was unusual for such a loud and crazy place.

  • from the way the judges looked at Sung Bong, they were surprised and can't believe the past of this guy. excellent voice though... hope he win the competition.

  • no translation.........

  • Seen both this uncut & the one with translation. Can someone update us on his progress in the competition, please?

  • @ICTicon he's in the semi-final along with 39 others,

  • Translate please! tack så mycket!

  • Translate Translate pls~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  • The reason the judge laughed at "manual labor" was because he used the word "no-ga-da", which is a slang for a hard laboror in a derogatory way.

  • english translation please....

  • @rengirl1971 Search for video entitled "Homeless Boy Steals The Talent Show".

  • @rengirl1971

    judge : ching chang chong:

candidate : ching ting choi sonug bong!

    judge : bonging jingbo

candidate : nella fantasiaaaaa ni il cuore la mareeeeee

  • why is there no translation for this video?

  • here he says he attended Artistry High School. He did not lie about his background.

  • thanks for uploading this video...was hoping that there was translation during the interview.

  • thanks so much for sharing the uncut raw video! I can finally hear the whole song <3. I love this version so much better!
