  • I remeber playing this on drums in school, fuckin epic.

  • FACT white people can not dance

  • @tahoecmt You got that right

  • Blonde guy is Paul Revere

  • My Dad played in a great band here in Lehigh Valley Pennsilvania. His name was George Robbins. He played with great names like Jay and the Techniques, and a few others here in the Lehigh valley. He passed on now, but i'm quite cirtain he's up there jamming for Jesus, along side all the greats that I just named. So once again, thanks for paving the way for musicians such as myself today. I hope everything works out for me, like it did you, and your great carrer, knock on wood lol!! Thanks.

  • when did they record it? I mean the year...

  • Everything I touch turns to... turns to... turns to.... (suddenly realises he can't say shit!) lmao!!!

  • Nah Im here cause I like Motown lol

  • Like this if your here because of Easy A!! xx

  • stax was the house that carla thomas build those are the memphis horns behind all of the stax hits.white soul brothers and white brothers in the rythm section

  • It went a lot better at the 'Kingsland Hall' Watford ........

  • It is Paul Revere.

  • The blonde guy in the hat I think is one of the guys from Paul Ravere and the Raiders Band.

  • This is the chilled version. Amii Stewart's version is the "I just did a line of crack" version.

    And I love both versions.

  • @RedRoosterRoad she pumped it up.

  • Proof that white people in general cannot dance. :D

  • I went to school with this guy's son Edric... that was 30 years ago... and I didn't make the connection until recently... go figure.

  • the blonde guy Is Paul Revere....

  • Five people need their hearing checked - BIG TIME!

  • Love this song but the dancers gotta go!!

  • my Mum STILL dances like this ! ....great song

  • Wow! This is great! Thanks for posting this video!

  • I have always though Ammi stewardrecorded it first and after that Davide Bowie covered it.But as I now see clear the whole thing was absolute different.

  • I don't watch the video .. I listen to the music and just read what some of the creeps below write to respond to probably some alien voices pounding in their brain. Who are the parents of these creeps? They must have been on dope at the time of conception.

  • @tkeitez66 Yeah really. Take Sammy Hagar he says he was abducted by aliens but he didn`t say if they did a butt probe on him. When they listened to his past work with Van Hagar they declared him a pansy milk drinker and sent him back. Shame they didn`t keep him. He`s been drinking too much of that Takillya he makes.

  • This is really weird. Eddie what are you doing in Wonka World?

  • I can't stop watching this! Anyone know who the girl is on Eddie Floyd's immediate left with the bow in her hair?? So CUTE!

  • Oh my gawd. Thank you for allowing me to see the original clip. I love original artists. Original artists rock. There I was a 70's babe thinking Amii Stewart was the original artist. Thank you.

  • Ohhh my gawd! What an awesome opportunity to see this clip. The original! There I was, an 70's babe thinking Amii Stewart was the original. That you. I am so for original artists. Covernotes are good. However I feel that when I discover an original, I have found a precious stone.

  • Only 1 black person in this video ? goes to show you ? ...hmmm

  • @ShishBoomBah hmmm what ? Times were different Laddie

  • 1:28 white guy rhythem lol

  • Been totally tipped over after hearing this version, it is so cool.

  • Wonderful song! What TV show was this? Those mad 60's dance moves were knockin' me out. Thanks!

  • Original might have been by Willlie Mabon in 1956 on Chess.

  • Great old video. It was a great, great time for music and fun, and I'm still enjoying it. And I would take this video and dancing over the, for lack of a better word, stuff that is called ?music? today.

  • i work at a movie theater, and i was walking through a movie theater, i noticed some stupid movie called "Easy A" made a bastardisation of this song...it made me really really angry.

  • Real music !

  • LMFAO this goes to show that white girls never knew how to dance lol!!!

  • wonderful song u have 2 luv it

  • Very beautiful video. This version is the best.

  • Super Cool Eddie just singing it as he feels it, with soul man, soul!

  • Bass-line... wow ... I loves me some 60's Soul for sure.... pure joy!

  • Great pop tune as well as an R & B classic.

  • @ozgribbo o hell yes

  • This song is such a great memory! I lipsynched and danced to this song at a talentshow at my school when I was 13 years old. And I won too. Ohhh.....that was a really long time ago. I'm not that young anymore.

  • The blonde guy in the video, is Paul Revere, from Paul Revere and the Raiders band.

  • check this bass line-- pure joy.

  • @cshargeit Yes, so true.

  • i think its alright i only watch it for my theartre train go on theartre train website dance sing and act

  • Wow Paul Revere intro on the weekly tv show (where the action is) I Had a 1955 Ford Crown Vic with a 303 Olds with 2 4bbl carbs and hung out at the world in miami beach back then.. Saw Eddie Floyd there in 67....

  • lol the blonde guy at 2:20 things you see when you wish you had a time machine... chuck him off bridge lol

  • Wonderful song and singer! You rock!

  • The girls are looser, their hips are better oiled, than those of lotsa gogo girls on the TV dance shows of that era.

  • Eddie Floyd, with an intro by Paul Revere and Jim "Harpo" Valley. It doesn't get any better than that!!

  • if i want to download this mp3 form amazon, which is the best right version? there's like a million! single/LP version, radio edit, etc

  • Single/LP

Do NOT get the radio edit

  • Best segue ever.

  • "Oh baby ,come on,let me show you where the action is"

  • I used to dance to this at High School discos...oh so many years ago...thx for posting!

  • Daamn SO GOOD!

  • Spastic dancing was a sign o" the times...resulting in "a bridge over troubled water:

  • the blonde guy in the top-hat looks like a young Gary Bussey

  • Thats' Paul Revere of PR and the Raiders. That show used to come on in the afternoon after school. "Where the Action Is"

  • That is Busey!!!

  • @lemonlime10294 May I show my ignorance and ask who is Gary Bussey?

  • @Sonsational1961 You may...He is a hollywood actor that almost killed himself test driving a motorcycle a few years ago (was not wearing a helmet)

  • @Sonsational1961

the old cop from point break lmao

  • @lemonlime10294 He does. He's a member of Paul Revere and the Raiders. Clip is from their tv show in the 60's

  • When first this song I was a small boy. One of my beothers was in the army, and about the time he was due to get out, he was considering re-enlisting and going to Viet Nam. My parents leaned hard on him, and pulled whatever strings necessary to keep him from going. This song was played over and over all night at his homecoming party. Now, as a grown man the reason is abundantly obvious to me to say the least...

  • @dingane19 Thank you @dingane19 for giving me the opportunity to seeing the original song. Like I said only a few minutes ago in my post. I always thought that Amii Stewart was the original artist. I should have known better. The best disco songs are cover notes from 50's and 60's. I am a 70's babe. I love the 70's, 60's 50's and 40's.

  • @dingane19 What is a beothers?

  • Eddie is great!

  • classic tune! thanks 4 posting!

  • great stuff

  • spettacolo questo video....

  • Can anyone say what show this was from?

  • i think this was from the show, "where the action is" in the mid 1960s. the 2 guys in the beginning of this clip were members of the band, paul revere and the raiders
