You are strong, yes, you are short, yes, but do yourself a favour: Lower the weight and use good, controlled form and loose the LMS. Not only will you save your shoulder joints and back (you can thank me later) but you'll also develop more strength and mass by using better technique. By the time you build up to 300lb in a controlled style you'll likely be 185lbs. Lift safe.
I think the biggest mover muscle here is actually his gluts, with his back moving up and down, the gluts are pulling in the motion, like a dead lift, they are creating the momentum, and his lats/shoulders get to come along for the ride

@iPlay007 buddy... lets consider that his legs weight a measly 50 lbs and the rest of the body was 115. Now using the momentum of his upper body going downwards hes going down about 15 degrees with his body causing a momentum pull considerably low to the actual weight itself, maybe lose about 10%. So technically hes still pulling with all his strength a good 270 lbs. Pretty easy and if you watch the video correctly, very obvious physics... I'm also being very lenient and overestimating.

All that is happening is that the pulley makes it so that it is still 300 lbs but it is pulled down instead of him standing over it lifting, which would be an entirely different workout. don't wanna pick on you, but you are cheating BIG time. The extension of your back that you do is making it easier for your arms. Try the same thing without arching or making an extension of your back and you'll not be able to do it with the same weights (probly).

@ludachristo not really, im 15 and 100 pounds is nothing. Even though he had really bad form, 300 pounds is very impressive, and 100 pounds with good form still doesn't beat that.

Muscle doesn't mean nothing, you can train for strenght without big muscle gains. Get lost dude. This guy is a soldier able to beat the living crap out of you.

I'm not saying this isn't a bit impressive because I'm 160 and wouldn't be able to do this. But it's just sloppy form, I'd rather see him do 4 with perfect form then the 12 or so that he did by swinging his whole body.

Your form is shit. You're using gravity to assist you. This doesn't indicate any "strength" at all. This reminds me of high school where everyone was under the impression of "if I can lift lots - must mean Im strong".Throwing your body to lift ridiculous amounts of weight does not build quality muscle, and ultimately doesn't build any strength. Your 300 lb bench was somewhat impressive, this is just embarassing.
