I wish someone loved me like this. I watch these videos and pretend that my mom cares about me. I cry and cry. I don't have a mom or dad. We all live in the same house but no one ever speaks to me. Only when they tell me what to do, do they ever even give me a hi. When I was 8 I wrote in a little lady bug book. "your mommy loves you" in what I though my moms handwriting was like. And I pretended that she wrote it. That she meant it

I'm so glad I found this except that I kinda DO understand - my youngest child, born when I was 35 & given up for adoption, is gay. She's happy in her world &I'm happy for her. I don't understand many things because we are not close, not like I hoped we would be by now (she's 21). But I did keep in touch all thru the years until she became a teen, and didnt want me in her life. I understood. I 've always understood that no matter what, I'm here for her, anytime. After all, I am her mother.

My daughbter is engaged to someoneng I cannot stand. It is tearing a very close family apart. Sometimes you say the best you can to show your daughteryou really love her.
Maybe I am reading the text wrong but I think it is insulting and condescending to any daughter that would get this video from their mother. It basically says even though you are a total screw up I love you. Why not just say I love you.
@ZIRO11590 I completely agree. Was sent this by my mom and every word read that my life was a huge disappointment to her and I was completely screwing up my life, but she loved me anyway. A simple "I love you" would have been much preferred.
