I am glad I live in British Columbia where hydro-electricity is the main source of energy, with wind as a minor alternative. Metro Vancouver has made some improvements such as using electric buses and installing wind turbines on the local mountains.
Want what?, Need what? There is no real issue with fossil fuels other than the fact that opening an oil refinery is nearly impossible, and the ones we have either, get blowed up, are legally not repairable. The fuel crisis we face was created by our own laws and if we want to have a shred of decent humanity we have to stick to our fate and die.. The only problem the Earth faces is us, and some of us see it, most of us are idiotic biblically religious prigs.
Great video to accompany a great book that was accompanied by a great book launch! Thanks Tom for packaging this important info in multiple forms so that we can share the message easily.
Excellent, Tom !! One roadblock is the Petro-lobby in the US (biggest user). But you are on the right track. Counties like Germany and Norway are leading the way and will leave the US Fossil Fuel addicts in the dust, THEN things will change.
Thank you for this video. This is my first step to educating myself on alternative energy which I don't understand very well. I agree with you on the idea of people being addicted to fossil fuel energy. So many people use their car to drive a block from there house to get snacks at the corner store. They could have walked like me and lost some carbs on the way. I've been yelling "fire" for ever!
great viddeo

from the book:
When it comes to the future, there are three kinds of people: those who let it happen, those who make it happen, and those who wonder what happened.
Here's mine for fun:
When it comes to the future, there are some who let it happen, some who wonder what happened, and those who make a mess of it.
