@ghadlan; Yes a Finnish team won 6-1. A Finnish team mostly trained by the Swedish ES. Ok if most finns were trained in Finland, but no. First ES then NHL. This year no Swedish NHL player could help team Sweden, so we played mostly with ES player and still reached the finale. Other countries had plenty of NHL player but not Sweden so silver is good enough. And from what I see it´s mostly finns that screams 6-1, 6-1, 6-1 everywhere, like a miracle´s happened. Or is it a miracle to you?

Allvarligt nu då...Finland vann ett guld på länge P.G.A att (nu ska jag vara ärlig här) att våra svenska utespelare var för fan VÄRDELÖSA den matchen...vår målvakt hade lyft oss hela VM för att sen knappt få någon form av hjälp från våra egna utespelare =/ och det är nog lite svårt för en målvakt att spela mot hela finska laget själv...och finland var bra det kan jag inte förneka...men som sagt Svergie och Finland = Alltid rivaler och nordiska bröder.
@TheFashioncore Det var ju bara VM trots allt... VM är varje år och de flesta top eliteserie spelarna vill kämpa för SM-guld och NHL proffsen får inte ens vara med för sina klubbar. VM i ishockey är ingen big deal ;)

ok, last time when Finland and Sweden met with best possible teams, in Vancouver Olympics 2010,
Sweden won 3-0, but Finland got bronze, and Sweden didn´t get medal. In last spring final, Sweden played very well 2 periods, maybe better than Finland but in last period Finland got some goals pretty easily, Sweden didn´t defend so well in that period, but the game was absolutely not that onesided as the score 6-1 says. Sweden and Finland are both great in hockey.

Sweden got 42 medals for WC and OL so far in the history, Canada 45, Russia 10, Finland 15, USA 26.. Point is Sweden is the world 2:nd best country in the whole history in medal way.. And Sweden allways have been a topp 5, topp 10 few times.. But a hell of respected and amazing team!!!
Dont forget Sweden is the onely country ever succés to win WC + OL in same year.. No other before.. That is a huge performance.

Missförstå mig inte, Svensk hockey är bra och vi har kapacitet att vara där uppe men vi är fan inte bäst genom tiderna.

The main point is that both Sweden and Finland are great places to live compared to almost every other country in the world. So we shouldnt waste our time on argueing which one is better. And we lost to Denmark in Germany not in Vancouver.

I´m mean, you´ve got great rally drivers like Mikko Hirvonen & Jari-Matti Latvala and Kimi Räikkönnen in Formula 1, some hockey players like Tomi Kallio, Fredrik Norrena, Miikka Kiprusoff, Olli Jokinen, Saku Koivu, Temu Sälänne, Kari Lehtonen, Ville Peltonen etc, Tero Pitkämäki in javerlin.. But seriously! Look at Sweden. In Hockey, Bandy, Indoorbandy, fotball, ski, outdoor games etc.. Look att all those names and performances;P
