how do you shoot out rockets constantly. i can only shoot 1 and then wait and then another . yours is like shoot shhoot shoot

by switching between stroquets and plasma cannon. AFter you fire your stroquet change the weapon to plasma cannon using the mouse wheel. Shoot about 3 plasma cannons then switch to stroquet again with the mousewheel. Rinse and repeat, HAVE FUN! :)

Ah, good old times. Everyone who was good at flying like Dom, myself or some other people was a GOD in the air. Good thing in 1.4 and 1.5 is much harder to fly like that.

Now that they tuned down the anansi and tormentor do ya find the game to be just as fun as its been prior to 1.4? I think they should have removed the stroybombs on icarus or armed our husky's damit! Seems like strogg have the advantage =\. Stats page gdf vs strogg wins says it all.

I got nearly 24 hours of flying in this baby under the belt but everytime I dogfight the Anansi they turn around faster than me. At first I thought it was the bird but after flying the Anansi, which I am crap at, I noticed the tormentor turning around faster.

So whats up with that, can you give me any pointers?

Ps. tormentor flies so much better imo but I guess thats just experience. Only got around 5 hours on the anansi.

It's all about flicking your mouse, drag it fast to the side you want to turn and the aircraft will turn faster.

Every time I used the Tormentor, I get shot down after 2 seconds. That or I run into a mountain, cuz its hella hard to use the controls.

practice practice! You should start a game vs the computer and turn on advanced flying controls in the options. Then you can practice manuevers to save you from crashing all the time.

hey dommafia, can u tell us what exactly is the difference between advanced controls and non-advanced controls? I once changed ingame and didn't really notice a difference, but hey ;) im a bloody beginner^^

With advanced controls off the game doesn't let you flip over, dive and crash into the ground, it does like digital stabilization. If you really want to become a good pilot you have to play with advanced controls on.

i hope they will split the vehicle and movement controls so that you can use the same keys for different actions in the vehicle compared to the personel movement. same for sensitivity, im used to 12.0 when shooting, but for in the air 3.0 is easier to control.. oh well we'll see in the demo in +- 15 hours..

mmm still trying to get the hang on that circling above a tank more easily without him able to get you.. practice makes perfect i guess :p

If you dont get a couple of shots in from behind the tank (away from his view) it is very hard to take it out before you drop down to an altitude that he can shoot you. Try coming up from behind his turret's direction and start strafing sideways (rolling) to make it harder for him to get a bead on you. Keep switching between plasma and stroquets.

The only thing i changed is the flares key, i have it on my mouse4 button for easy access.

rockets are probably the best artillery piece because they can be retargeted, but they can also seek. If you lock onto an aircraft, usually it only takes a couple shots to kill it, then you can redirect the missiles to attack normal infantry.

certainly very satisfying to see the tormenter that has been slaughtering my team go down after a couple rockets go its way

the only decent way I can see him being taken down is with a rocket or rockets (from the field ops)

You are right, strangely enough I haven't been targeted NOT EVEN ONCE by rocket artillery. 99% of field ops Like using the hammer or artillery. They don't know how much more usefull rocket artillery can be. It will lock to any vehicle/deployable you aim it at and you can guide it after detroying it :O

Yep. Even the Cyclops can be taken out with 1 rocket artillery barrage.

I personally usually use rockets before the bridge, Artillery after the bridge and then rockets again to assault the shield gen and contaminator.
