i'm not going to give the pick/fingers argument (pointless). i think the song sounds better with the attack of the pick. it is tighter and punches you in the face more. i just get a ton of click with this track (and some of your other bass tracks). no doubt the speed and fretting is there... just try to work on your form and properly pronouncing the note you are hitting. good stuff man

Acctualy playing guitar first does help as much as lifting a piano from the side curb. J/K

It depends from person to person. But most of the times it does not. But playing bass to great skills helps you playing guitar. My own experience. Guitarplayers who pick up a bass most of the times don't have the feeling for the groove and tend to show of to much with gitar stuff.

@dethklok492 You can play bass. But I recommend making guitar your primary instrument. Guitar players are typically much more known and famous and their part stands out more in the song. Don't get me wrong, bass is important, but it is more of a silent thing in the background that nobody pays attention to when guitar is what everybody hears and appreciates.

@dethklok492 if ur using a pick for bass then it definately does, but you will have to put in alot of effort and expect no shortcuts if u wnt to play real finger style bass after playing guitar for a while. I did the same and it took me ages to get fingerstyle down properly after 2 years of guitar

It's not difficult to play as fast with your fingers as you can with alternate picking, it's just that you people are lazy and only bother to train two fingers. This basically. It's a matter of preference. I can do both but I prefer fingers. Also, I'd hardly call people lazy for only using 2 fingers. I can play this song perfectly fine with only 2 fingers and Hammer Smashed Face, World Circus and other super fast songs. It's just practice to get fast.
