  • Have you had problems with the knobs not responding to midi mapping well in ableton.

When I assign a knob it takes like 3 to 5 minutes to recognize it then the knob is not accurately responsive. Not sure if this is a common problem or something is wrong with mine. Thanks

  • Caribou uses this.

  • MicoKontrol have been in the market for quite a while now right? Does korg have new and similiar product?

  • would you need an additional soundcard with this?

  • does this work with fruity loops or Logic or something? - thx, Noxx

  • Hi Soundwavescience thanks for the great demo.

Would you have any advice which DAW software to use with my MicroKontrol that:

    (1) Comes pre-loaded with a bunch of quality effects to manipulate uploaded samples through the knobs and levels of the MicroKontrol; and

    (2) Easily record track using the keyboard and drum pads.

    Thanks!

  • Anything you like.

Garageband, Something from Native Instuments, Ableton, Logic Studio.

  • whats the software name for Korg MicroKontrol to work

  • Any midi compatible program.

  • his forearm looks so small :O

  • Hey NICE :D how much does it cost?

I found one for 320€ is that good?

  • yes its good 4 the new one.

  • i heared that the microkontrol nad is..i most install over 70.000.000 programs -.-

  • In your opinion would the MicroKontrol or the Korg Kontrol49 be better?

  • the microkontrol

  • hey what do u recommend me

    the microkontrol

    or the microkorg

    or the rolan sh-201 ?

  • That depends what functionality you want from the device. The microkontrol is a midi controller which means that it will control effects & sounds within the software your currently using (eg, Reason, Cubase etc...) where as the other two you have mentioned can be used like this they are also synthesizers which means that they generate there own controllable sounds independent of the need for a DAW software program.

I think I would be tempted to go for the Roland sh-201.

    Hope that helps.

  • yea ? why ?

  • Its more feature rich!

The SH-201 is an all around better built machine. It offers a wider range of polyphony, a larger keyboard with more keys for mapping your samples in midi mode & more controls/knobs to tweak your sounds.

  • For more info you might want to take a look at my 'Roland SH201 Synthesizer Review' video

  • ok thanks

  • microkorg...its a synthesizer and u can use it like a controller.
