THIS TRAINEE CHILDISH SO CALLED HOSPITAL SUCKS! I WENT THERE BACK IN DEC. BECAUSE I AM UNEMPLOYED AND UNINSURED - AND SICK WITH POSSIBLE PROSTATE OR COLON CANCER. I ALSO HAVE A HERNIA IN MY RIGHT GROIN THAT IS READY TO RUPTURE AT ANY MONET. HURTS LIKE HELL. I WAITED THERE FOR OVER 8 HOURS AND FINALLY GOT INTO A ROOM AND SOME VERY YOUNG AND INEXPERIENCED GIRL CAME IN AND CLAIMED TO BE AN M.D. SHE LOOKED AT MY HERNIA AND SAID "I CANT TELL IF THIS IS A HERNIA OR NOT."

First of all i have been a Nurse Practitioner for over 8 years so i know if CAT scans are harmless or not what is your title some lady with no background education in the medical field? and Second if you knew about pregnancies you would know that the zone of proximation is surround by the amniotic fluid and that nothing can penetrate it even a CAT Scan... CAT scans are used for reviewing the superficial layer of any organ and are NOT harmful unlike X-rays so please stop embarrassing yourself...

This doctor is very smart and i agree with him 100% this lady sounds a bit insane i am currently a Nurse Practitioner at St Josephs hospital the CAT scan is harmless what this lady is experiencing is a concept called selective hearing in which she was told by some idiot it was harmful and is now experiencing "signs" of depression. If i was her doctor or Nurse i would prescribe you 5 years with a therapist :) for your own good of course.

Then they did CAT scan on my lungs while I was pregnant! 4 years down the road I suffer from depression out of fear for my only child's health!
