The video dealer announement for "Purchasing new or previously viewed tapes" end in 1989. and did the "Purchsing previously viewed tapes" end in 1990?
I have a different opinion of why this is not real--
This "Sorcerer Mickey" jingle was first seen in 1991, a bit earlier than the gold WDHV logo because it is remixed differently than the original 1986 version.
Yes, that was a good choice. But, they also should've had a trailer for "The Jungle Book" at the end of the movie, with the fly-in "Coming on Videocassette" logob because they didn't have that.
@systemoperator The many adventures of winnie the pooh classics has the 1988 wdc logo before the beginning of the movie or the wd mini-classics logo and the beginning of the movie.
It was never released in the WDC series and since it's an animated classic, it never had the WD Mini-Classics logo either! They're were only three VHS releases from 1981, 1996 (Masterpiece Collection edition), and 2002.
It ended for Disney in 1988 because the 1988 VHS of "Benji: The Hunted" was the last to have it and ended 1989 for Touchstone because they were the last to use it.
"The Making of Rescuers Down Under" is only on 1990 VHS of "Peter Pan". There's another trailer where they have that movie & it's preeding 24 min. featurette starring Mickey Mouse called "The Prince & the Pauper". It's uploaded my marlotiquia.

It ended in 1988.

I deny this! They made the right desicion to wait until 1996 to release it. Although, they should've had an alternate version of the 1983 VHS:
Part one:
1. prototype 1983 FBI screens
2. "Winnie the Pooh and a Day for Eeyore/The Sword in the Stone" 20th anniversary re-issue trailer
3. 1983 WDHV logo
4. 1966 BV logo
Part two:
1. end of film
2. 1982 "Walt Disney and You" promo

It ended for Disney in 1988 because the 1988 VHS of "Benji: The Hunted" was the last to have it and ended 1989 for Touchstone because they were the last to use it.
