It's quite obvious what's going to happen next. With luigi being frozen in Tanooki form (which has the ability to turn to stone anyway). Luigi will revert back to his normal self after a while, probably right around the moment where this episode ends. Also what Bowser said about Eggman's emotionless experiment working better than he thought it would. I'm pretty sure Basilisx is going to hesitate killing Mario because he's feeling bad about it, thus giving another char the time to save him :3
