  • There are many.......professional blacksmith's making a living. And, not knowing where you are it's difficult to be specific......but suffice it to say that no matter what state your in.....there is a "group" of blacksmithing enthusiasts that have regular meetings. AND if you'll contact me through my website...I'd be glad to help you find your local group.

    Blacksmithing is ALIVE and WELL.....and thriving.

    the point is........stated in the description in the box to the right.

    This is to answer a question.....from a friend in Alaska, Jerry Frost. He was asked if Nickel Silver could be forged. I did this to show that, not only can it be forged....but it can be forged cold without even annealing it first. Nickel Silver actually has NO Silver in it. It's made up of Copper/60%, Nickel/20%, Zinc/20%. It's also known by the names...German Silver and White Brass.
