@llallauh I agree, I really disliked the show. The runway is so short that the models are done walking in 30 seconds. I personally found 2009 to be worse though. Thank god the 2011 show was good, I think VS is back on track!

@rgur90x The runway looks the same length as usual. But 2009 show had to be the worse VS show. I think VS is slowly getting back on track. The outfits are getting better (except the PINK section). But their production for the shows have been kinda weak lately.

I don't know about Doutzen being offered one and turning it down. the only ones that I know they offered multiple times turned them down were Ana Beatriz and Daria. I also know Izabel Goulat decided not to extend her contract with them even when they wanted her to. Lately the choices in the angels have been questionable like Chanel and Lily should not be angels (Marisa was questionale too). Too many of PINK models are getting contracts over some better VS models.

And theyre giving contracts out to girls that are fluent in English, hence why you dont see Emanuela, Maryna, or Edita being contracted with them, though all of them speak English rather well.

@cjankm Pretty much. In 2006, there were no American Angels (Angela was the only American to even walk the show). In 2007, they signed Marisa and Miranda, both fluent in English of course. In 2008, Doutzen finally signed her contract and in 2009, they added Candice, Emanuela, Lindsay, Erin, Rosie and Chanel. Emanuela is the only one that isnt a native English speaker and she seemed to disappear. Then they added Lily A, who makes no sense.
