  • Ummmmm..... why are Alex and Neil sleeping together?

  • Thanks for the great video. You haven't seen Rush until you've seen them live in concert. These guys are tight and really rock. Easily one of the best live bands in the world. Became a fan after I saw them live with Tommy Shaw opening for them.

  • it's amazing how they've grown...

alex looks like a hockey player

geddy doesnt look like a twig anymore and

    neil...well...he hasnt changed much...

  • someone please explain to me- what is their fascination with chicken????

  • geddy put up the rotesiries to fill up the half of the stage. he thought one side looked to empty.

  • nothing, the band and crew eat it. they tour with their personal chef, a man they call "Frenchie". he finds local home grown veggies to go with that chicken. they all eat like kings on the tour. no one can complain.

  • Caught them last night in Boise - great, great show!

Then an intermission followed by the second set which begins with Far Cry and ends with Tom Sawyer. Encore: One Little Victory, Passage to Bangkok and ends with YYZ. Sorry about the double entry.

  • Man im going to see rush for the second the June 12 in montreal , Im very exited!!! WAHOU!

  • What was the set list??

  • Hehe..wonder if Neil sleeps with his drumsticks all the time :)

  • let's not get angry with each other now lol... a 'real' fan who has seen many shows and owns every record can still have an opinion, however unpopular, about a show.... the sound was solid.... the ticket prices are still way less than madonna/mccartney/stones/bocelli... but for a 30 year fan, even with a 3 hr show there will be songs that just won't get played.... so EVERYONE here, answer me this: WHAT TWO songs do you REALLY want to hear RUSH play live?

  • @notreallysure9 that they haven't for the last couple tours? TEST FOR ECHO AND LA VILLA STRANGIATO!

  • @notreallysure9

    1. the full 2112

    2. not sure, all i care about is full 2112, but 2nd place is a tie between la villa strangiato/natural science

  • 4/26/08 Oklahoma City Ford Center= me @ Rush

  • ah me too....where are your seats?

  • theres was not a pause at the beggining of limelight, and no dolls this time???????????????????????'

  • I was there

  • King Crimson's still got it too :) and theyve been around longer.

  • King Crimson? they are 1/2 the band and power of Rush. not that they are not good. They have played probably 1/2 of Rush played. Rush played over.. 5000.... five thousand shows! How about the Band Budgie? And Robin Trower? Been around longer too. They can't fill 2000 seats

  • "Stop complaining."

Then you stop complimenting. They paid for their ticket, their right to do so. Not yours. Deal with it.

  • Oh another Rush can do no wrong fan. The set list was OK at best. 9 Snakes & Arrows songs? It is one of their worst records they have ever done not to mention 5 songs in a row? I will take Power Windows, Grace Under Pressure, Presto, Signals any day of the week over S& A. I don't have to stay home next time, I have been a fan since 1980 and been seeing them since 1984.Besides judging by all of the empty seats and the upper deck closed I don't think anyone would have wanted my ticket anyway.

  • Well, I think, that they should have taken a longer break..then come back out. This is the same show basically...I do think that the cost of the tix had a real effect on tix sales. Really, I was disappointed at having to spend $100 per ticket. I have seen them 33 times! And usually go to 3 shows a tour. 2007 was at $70/a ticket, now $100. I thought, come on guys, you killing us here. That is way too much. Yes I know, they arn't making $ from CD's anymore so concert tix $ is the bread and butter

  • You have to understand that it's the promoters who set the ticket prices. Very rarely - if ever is it the actual band. the band is guaranteed a certain flat amount of money and then promoter has to pay expenses (rental of the facility, rider requests etc...) and then get his payoff. Prices are insane but blame the proper source.

  • yea I know, when I say, come on guys, I mean the hole group as a whole, not just the band members...I have read however that after this tour, that they will probably taking a longgggg break...then if they can put it together, record more music. Who knows how long they can play and keep up the pace! They are pushing 60 !

  • I was there and it the show was OK at best. Half empty arena and the set list could have been so much better. Dropping Circumstances and Entre Nous is makes a better show? For Ghost of a Chance and The Trees for the 3 millionth time? C'mon.

  • yeah why the fuck are you complaining about going to see rush? best live band on earth

  • I was there! Excellent show!! Geddy was hitting them notes, the sound was good and they had energy. Plus a great floor seat makes it better !! "Natural Science" made it for me. Thanks for the post

  • I was there last night, it was a great show! Rush is one of the great all time rock bands with so many memorable hits. Loved the chickens roasting too!!!

  • i was there and it was amazing

  • They sounded wonderfully punchy.

    It was amazing!!

  • I believe the story is that that Geddy plugs his bass into a sansamp [direct box] into an Avalon 737p tube preamp then into the P.A. That combined with the in ear monitors they each use means that they don't need amps on the stage... But they thought the stage looked lopsided with 8 guitar cabinets and a big drum set and nothing on Geddy's side so first they came up with the washing machine dryers, and now the Henhouse rotisserie

  • Geddy Lee is filling the space because he no longer uses amplified speakers. His sound is pre amplified and then it goes to the sound console. That empty space had to be filled first he choose dryers and now the chicken.

  • This was one of the best shows in my opinion. The guys were loose on stage and looked as if they were having a ball. Neil was really loose and also appeared to be having fun. The venue was excellent. 100 times better than the Sound Advice Amphitheatre. All in all, my best Rush experience ever (and I haven't missed a show since 1979).

  • Great show! Still one of the best live shows out there, and still consummate musicianship! It will be a sad day when I can no longer buy a ticket to see them perform 2112...

As far as the chickens roasting on stage LOL! Geddy had take a liking to having some sort of appliance on stage with him. Last tour were 3 dryers with t-shirts in them spinning around. This tour, chicken roasters! Best part was the chef randomly coming out and tending to the chickens LAWL! You gotta love it!

  • Someone can explain the chicken owens in the back? Tks.

  • How good does Big Al look in his white suit jacket! Good video, i'll be seeing them June 27 in Milwaukee.
