  • could someone please name all the dancers? I'm pretty new in the (scene) so i can recognize Poppinpete and boogaloo Sam only..

  • any race can get down !. good example right here . this vid is dope

  • BEST FKIN OLD MAN I SEEN HOW DO U DO IT

  • Yo what is da white dude name? Isn't his name sundance or somedan like dat?

  • This was STREETSCAPE - a pioneering Canadian street dance group,1982-'85. Formed in Calgary, Alberta by Colin "Steamboat" Bloudoff (the white guy:) Founding members were: Colin, Wayne "The Saint" Headley, Bradley "Breakin' Brad" Rapier, and Paul "Ripple" Lewis. Boogaloo Sam danced with them in 1984. This taping was on The Don Harron Show, a national talk show, November 21st, '84.

  • Lol White guy

  • all the way crispy

  • I love how they all have a smile on their face... That's what dancin' is about, havin' fun.

  • I can't do the body break without breaking every bone in my body!

  • Dude did u c the foot work sic!

  • This is one of those few times I can actually say "Poppin AND Lockin", and have it be the correct definition!

  • Dude Their Fresno is like flawless.

  • Dancing skill has nothing to do with the color of your skin. It takes years of practice and dedication. Saying otherwise is insulting to the other members of the group, implying they're not working as hard as the white guy does in order to overcome his debilitating handicap of being white.

  • sam is straight up the best dancer

  • who said white men cant dance lol

  • White men can dance

  • yoo whos the white guy?

  • who s saying the whites are not good dancer !!! lol funk funk blood off my life peace jah

  • This is Canada's first street dance group STREET SCAPE. Boogaloo Sam came in as a guest. He was there their mentor. This is from the early 80s. The members of Street Scape are Bradley Rapier (founder of the Groovaloos), Wayne Headley, Colin Bloudoff (white guy), and Paul Lewis.

  • @groovaloos - Not sure I would say the first -but important non the less. Montreal had New Energy, Ottawa -CFM, Toronto -Wild style, 5 aces, zodiac etc

  • first white person to proved that white ppl can dance.

  • from 0:17 to 0:25 they're like levitating above the floor while dancing!

  • yes bother,s thi is,et fantastiq go youar way its super super nev revolotion of muzik and danzing ,play hay ol tiim from germany azeri

  • This is when it started going downhill with white coreographers.

  • Street Scape ftw !!!

  • the white guy is like 1 n 2 n 3 n 4 n 1 n 2 n 3 n 4.. haha funky

  • made for tv

  • I wish they had more shows like this, no camera effects, just plain dancing and choreography.

  • This was off the chain!

  • nowadays. you don't get any dancers that smile through their whole dance.

  • THIS IS SICK!!!!

AND WOW i love that they dance with smiles all over their faces.. they really enjoy dancing/entertaining!

  • "Body break" by S.O.S. Band

  • They killed that shit! All moves are on point!

  • fucking awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!11111

  • THE BEGINNING......

  • Great great great. But oddly enough, of all of the old songs, I would say this is the cheesiest. Otherwise this was a good video recording.

  • SICK SICK SICK SICK

    all in all S I C K

  • Oldskool will always be off the hook! This is real mothafu%^&$ oldskool!

  • By today's standards this all seems slow and basic (though it still entertaine me to no end). But, back in the day, this was off the hook.

I'd love to see some kids take us 20 years into the future by jumping from today's styles into hyper dance. Any links for that?

  • bill gates has some moves

  • 1:58 - Bill Gates BUSTS A MOVE!

  • sou fa deses karas

  • Michael Jackson took Funk dance to pop?

  • Looks like there's some charleston in too.

  • Where, I can't see any? There might not be any actual Charleston, but they are doing some toprock, which has some Charleston inspired moves such as the Charley-Rock.

  • so this is where some of Omarion's "Touch" dance movies were "inspired" from...ok, i see.

  • SO FRESH!

  • nice nice nice!

  • omg.... but white dude isnt to good at leg lockin

  • at least he went on to become founder/creator of Microsoft

  • that's bill gates??

  • nice try but no 10/10. moar leik...15/10.

  • whats the name of this song and who is it by!!

  • Body break by the SOS band

  • where do u take this video?thanks

  • I'm Boogaloo Sam

  • Shadowandsugar shut the hell this has nothin to do wit politics so please keep comments like that 2 urself

  • No, it has nothing to do with politics. What it has to do with is the fact that every other comment on this video is about who the white guy is, like it's a miracle that a white guy can dance. Anybody can do anything they set their mind to, just like a black person being President. He could do just as good a job as anyone else. The reason I made that comment (which I don't believe, by the way) is to see if any hypocrites would bash me for it.

  • I think Barrack Obama might be a good president... for a black person.

  • 2:32.. who is he?

  • boogaloo sam

  • Boogaloo Sam doesnt come in till 2:40 and starts locking

  • is it just me or does it seem like boogaloo sam doesn't seem very comfortable locking?

  • @leejinwoo1987 Wayne Headley. This is Canada's first Street Dance grouped called Street Scape.

  • what's the name of that whiteboy.

  • the whiteboy is (colin 'steamboat'bloudoff

    From the goups streetscape)

    KEEP TUTIN ON EM

  • Very good!!! What's the name of the dancers?

    Qual o nome dos dançarinos?

  • dint noe the 80's was dis cool!

  • Aeeeeeeeeeyo THATS Ill...LUV this Shit SAM.

  • so classic ,so funky,so smooth,,,just in thre good days bogollo sam & the team,,,,so good to watch bogoolo sam its just a art on dance gettin better even thou the clips r kinda old

  • go bill gates!

  • lmao

  • Really enjoyable to watch! Thank you.

  • Teemack, never underestimate the blackness of a white man when he's surrounded by other black men. His uncanny dancing ability is an evolutionary mimicry, designed to aid in his acquisition of white females who would normally go for the good-dancing black guys instead of him.

  • thats got to be one of the whitest whiteboys i've ever seen. but that fool didn"t miss a beat. he was tight rite along with the rest of the crew.

  • love their routine simple, smooth, and fun to watch just like the Jabbawockeez.

  • that's right..

  • Old school is the best !

  • That's old school at it's best.

  • Does anybody know where to find the song that they are dancing to. And AMEN to andyastro1, that is the truth and LIQUIDTRON will fix this.

  • when it comes down to popping or locking, there's always facial expressions that need to be made and that's what some new skoolers dont have. there more interested in battles to see who's THEE BEST........rememeber your in character......

  • Now, that is one hell of a routine!!No school, like the old school!

  • you all need to read previous comments: white guy is Colin "Steamboat" Bloudoff. This is StreetScape.

  • white guy is Colin "Steamboat" Bloudoff. He's from Canada and was one of the founding members of the group Streetscape. Boogaloo Sam danced with the group in Canada for about 4 months. The other popper was Wayne "The Saint" Headley, the other founding member. The other two street dancers, also members of Streetscape, are Paul "The Ripple" Lewis, and Bradley "Shooz" Rapier (now the founder of The Groovaloos).

  • can i be a groovaloo

  • Bill Irwin is the white dancer
