@Killjoy2297 It's true. Early machine guns were water-cooled and they had metal water-jackets around the barrels. But because water was in such short supply in the trenches, it was easier just to piss on the guns to keep them cool. And the piss-soaked hankies was another real WWI thing they did.

It was actually developed by the Canadians and Scottish

As a Canadian, I see it as a heritage moment :P
